...5 years.
Texting is predictably good, Nokia dictionary is easy to add to, input styles can be switched, symbols (including a new-line character finally!) inserted etc. I was quite impressed to see if you choose input language as “French” for example it has a French dictionary associated and correctly accents letters. Maybe this is a common feature in modern phones- I’d never noticed it before.
There are also some refinements over the N80 in ...

Advantages: Its An All In One Disadvantages: Battery Life As Usual
...the Symbian OS (read my Nokia 6630 review for a better understanding) due to the fact it is more superior to the Windows OS that you find in PDA's.
This is where the Nokia N95 steps in. You see, not only does it use the Symbian OS, but Nokia's in general are easy to use, elegant in appearance and exceedingly practical for a geek like me. I have to admit that I've always owned a Nokia, but having said that, I've played with many others and taking ...

...and does it well. Nokia have clearly put a lot of thought into the design of the menus and I get the feeling they might have even tried using the phone for a couple of days before putting them on the shelves!
The detailed specification and many functions and features are covered in some excellent reviews but I'd like to expand upon my experience with the phone and the areas where I found it excels and the few areas that could be better.
Its ...

The Nokia N95, such a hyped up handset from the worlds leading mobile handset manufacturer. I bought the N95 when it first came out, couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Satellie navigation i thought on a phone...wow.
I am very into new gadgets ,especially mobile phones and find myself changing my handset and even my contracts regularly just to get the latest technology. Sad...maybe, but gadgets are cool and this one is no exception. When it arrived ...

Advantages: Good quality with plenty of great features and applications Disadvantages: Short battery life, may occasionally freeze
The Nokia n95 was first released on sale in the UK at the beginning of 2007. It was one of the most advanced phones available at this time. It has a lot to offer the owner. First of all, the display is a 240 x 360 TFT display with ambient light detector and up to 16million different colours to take your fancy. The display is quite clear with not a lot of icons to clutter up the space.
The signal and battery levels are illustrated in the top corners ...

Advantages: Too many to mention Disadvantages: disappointing sat nav
I recently purchased the Nokia N95 I have now had it for about two weeks, I haven't had a chance to use all the features, but have used quite a few and had a play around. So thought I would write a review and then update it as I try more and more of the features.
The N95 is packed with features and this review could last for days if I explained them all. I'm going to concentrate on the most used and interesting features.
Lets start with the ...

Advantages: It does everything. Literally, everything. Disadvantages: Cheap it ain't. How long until Nokia announce one that is twice as good?
...you have any sim free Nokia N95's in stock?"
"Well, yes we do but they are very expensive"
"Duh."
So this is how I came to part with £469.99 for a mobile phone. Of course I was aware it's expensive. Everyone has had that advert tattooed into their retinas. The man pulls lots of things out of his pocket. A map, a stereo, a photo. But wait! It's all in one phone! Who exactly would assume that a 5 megapixel camera, DVD camcorder, Satnav system ...

...stick with something like a Nokia 3210!
The real reason for this phone is all the none phone related things it can do, a jack of all trades that whilst not a master of any of them, does a pretty damn good job of trying. You can see why it's refered to as a multimedia computer as it's far in excess of what a average PC could do just 10 years ago.
I'll start with the features I was most impressed by as I believe most people after one will want ...

...those Spanish, Japanese, instructions. The Nokia N95 is a high tech mobile which carry-on all those recognisable Nokia traits that any techno tortoise can follow. The graphics are delightful without going over the top, it reminds me of my first 3G phone. Yeah I do think the Nokia N95 is revolutionary... it is the next step towards 4G mobile phone media. The internal storage alone makes the N95 more capable of carrying digital data for a longer term. ...

Advantages: Excellent services Disadvantages: Large in size
The beginning:
I bought the nokia N95 when it came newly on the market. It was brought through a contract with o2 after I closed my sim only contract where I payed £25 a month (I think). o2 rang me and asked me if I wanted an upgrade and truthfully I was looking to buy a new phone as I originally had a nokia 6600, which as you may well know is nearly the size of a brick (although the nokia n95 isn't really any smaller). Anyway the o2 supervisor ...

MENU:
Unless you already own a Nokia product, the menu could take a while to get used to, as with any new phone, things are in different places and extra items are added. There are two menus on this phone, and they are situated either side of the middle buttons.
It took me a couple of days to find my way round it as ive never used a nokia before but its just a case of patience.

...them up quite quickly.
Now, the Nokia N95's strong point was it's camera and media abilities. It features a 5MP camera, and a video recorder that records in VGA at 30fps. Now, in terms of the video quality , it is very impressive. You could easily watch it on the telly and it's still quite good. Very clear. However, the photos are another matter. Yes, they are also very clear. However, there is little to no difference in the quality between the ...
