    Advantages Advantages Aids babies teething

Disadvantages Disadvantages The plastic wings on the bugs

I came across this while shopping in Tesco and I have to admit I picked it up as my youngest son was not happy and this kept him occupied. He was 6 months old at the time and beginning to get his first teeth so I knew we would put it to use but was not expecting much as most teethers we have tried have not fared well with my children. The teether is shaped in a loop with bright beads all the way around it and small bees and lady birds to separate different beads of this teether. Each of the beads have a rubber covering on them and different textures to stimulate baby some have small bumps ... more

    Advantages Advantages Cute, different surfaces

I bought this teether for my little girl about two years ago and I'm now using it for my little boy who is three months old. I think it goes without saying that I think it's a really good teether given that it has lasted this long and still looks as good as new. I first bought it because when I saw it in Boots I thought it was really cute looking and it looked more like a fun toy than a teether and one that I wouldn't mind taking out with me and having the baby play with. As the name suggests this teether is in a full loop and almost looks like a cute necklace with lots of funky different ... more

Advantages Advantages Colourful, loads of textures, easy for baby to hold and easy to clean.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None to date

Bought this a month or two back for my little boy who was teething, it was more of an impulse buy really as a lot of my mummy friends at toddler groups had one! I got it in Tesco and paid under £4.50. My first opinion was it looked a bit like a dog toy... It sounds silly I know but I did look past that and gave it to my little boy. I actually thought the product was a very good idea when I looked at it closer later that evening. I picked it up and realised the different textures. It is very well made with a thick strong white cord, I had a good pull at it and couldn't break it. I think the ... more

Advantages Advantages Works and can be used from 4 months

Disadvantages Disadvantages Could do to have a toy strap to attach to prams/carseats

One of the first teethers I tried with my little boy was the ‘Bug-a-loop’ teether by Nuby. I quite like this little teether toy, it is currently on sale on the Nuby website for £2.99 (a bargain if you ask me) and I know it is currently on sale in the Boots buy one get one half price on Nuby products. I’ve also seen it on the shelves in Asda so definitely not hard to track down for your little one. It is a ring of different soft beads. Some are shaped like bugs, hence the name, others are normal shape but textured. Oliver had a chew on all of the different ones and found a favourite texture for ... more
