Advantages: good suction, good manoeuvrability, fair price, looks cute, reliable Disadvantages: falls over, no on-board storage for tools, cost of replacing bags
Henry is everything a woman could hope for in a "man"; he's sturdy, reliable, attractive and will be around for a long time. Every flat I ever rented was equipped with a Henry hoover and not once was I disappointed. He never broke down, rarely lost suction and was not a patch on other hoovers I've had experience with, so Henry is now my hoover of personal choice. Compared to upright hoovers, having control over the pressure on the carpet greatly ... ...RED ( I believe he also comes in yellow, blue and green though!) vacuum cleaner, with a huge smiling face on the front, as if trying to cheer you up in preparation for the grim household task ahead of you. The hose pipe comes right out of his nose and leads to the head of the hoover via silvery metal poles. He also has a handle on top of his head for carrying him around, and a knob for winding in the cable when you are done with him. Take off his ...

...Henry is made by Numatic International Limited, their web site (www.numatic.co.uk) describes them as 'the U.K.’s largest manufacturer of vacuum cleaners, floor polishing machines and janitorial equipment.'. Henry is a small but powerful domestic vacuum cleaner. He comes from a family of smiley-faced brothers in various colours (Basil, Edward, Charles and George), but Henry is the cutest one; the Thomas the Tank Engine of the family.

Hello and welcome to this review.
We needed a Vacuum badly:) Said the wife! Apparently our old one was no good at getting up the hairs from two dogs..... Maybe if we emptied the bag it may have had a chance! But we had already decided on a Henry.. Well my son did:)
I must admit, I also Liked the look of this unit. Very Smiley and happy to do the job! Off to comet we went.
Luckily it was on sale to my suprise. I paid £89 BARGAIN! I also took out ... ...now as I know we will not be needing it with this absolutely amazing machine.
I never thought that a hoover with a smile on it could be such good quality. The box was very heavy which told me instantly that the quality was going to be good. I must say that the box was very nice looking in itself. Black with little different colour henry vacuums shown all over it.
When we opened the box we found.
Smiling Henry
A super long hose
Two Tubes
A floor ...

Advantages: He will always look at you with thiose bright eyes Disadvantages: You have to turn him off and put him aaway
I love my Henry and I don't mean my kid Henri either. I am talking about Henry my little red vacuum cleaner.
I open the under stairs cupboard and he's always there to greet me with his bright white eyes and long nose (but not wet like a dog).
Henry comes with usual range of attachments to allow you to clean and remove the dust and debris from around the house.
So why is Henry so damn great?
To start with he's robust and can handle life's knocks ... ...whilst cleaning the upstairs landing the dog (see Rhodesian ridgeback review) decided to play with Henry and knocked him down the stairs. Now I don't know much about anything, just that I feel Henry's school friends; Vax and Dyson would have ended up in A&E with multiples (I mean fractures - I have a clean mind).
So does Henry Perform?
He performs very well, every test (apart from spelling, he's crap at that) I have set him he has past with flying ...

THE NUMATIC HENRY. (HV200)
Do what? Who's he?
I wanted to know when I legged my way to the shops if Henry would be faithful.
Don’t be put off by the name because this little unpretentious bag dependant sorry! but solid looking machine may not be the flashiest git around but he is solid and virtually unbreakable. He comes in a tough shell with good wheels and a nice long flex with a tough durable hose. And what a choice of colours: ... ...several versions to him.
Apparently Numatic Henry (can any one enlighten me on the what exactly "Numatic" could mean?!) is known internationally.
Some people are confused as there are imitators around.Apparently the names;Charles and Thomas are amongst them.
Unless he has the name: Numatic Henry he isn’t the real bona fide vacuum (though I am not totally sure of this-and I question the saleswoman’s patter, as I know there are different types of ...

...personal opinion on the rugged Numatic vacuum cleaner called Henry. You will recognise it as soon as you see it because it is the one with the smiley face. This model is available in four different colours, red, green, blue, and the less common yellow.

The cheapest I have seen these is less than £75 and many places offer then under £100, which I think is a bargain, bearing in mind that this should last you many years. You may recognise this model as soon as you see it, because it is the one that has that smiley face, it also comes in four vibrant colours, red, green blue, and yellow. I have put down that noise is average, it is certainly no louder than others of it's type. Because the machine stays down at ground level, and usually behind you, it is probably quieter than an upright, which would be in front ot you, and higher too.
The cheapest I have seen these cleaners advertised, is just under £75 ...

OK, I admit it, I abuse my vacuum cleaners. Report me to the authorities if you like. I don't use vacuum cleaners to remove the odd bit of dust on my carpets, no, I expect them to suck up everything... guinea pig poo, sawdust, hay, rubble, soil, grit, dead leaves, cat and dog hair to name but a few. Basically, I expect the performance of a commercial cleaner for the price of a domestic one. I used to have an Electrolux Chic 1300 cylinder vacuum cleaner. ... ...finally decided it had had enough when I used it to hoover up the rubble in my attic (before laying loft insulation). This vacuum cleaner cost about £70 and lasted 4 years. About the time I blew my Electrolux up, my mother in law bought a Henry as this had been recommended to her by her decorator who had one himself, using it to hoover up the mess he had made in customers' houses. After she used it a few times, she asked me if I would like it as ...

My dad bought me my Henry when I moved into my first house about 15 years ago. In that time, Henry has seen some really heavy-duty action. I think he cost around £50 but he has proven to be worth his weight in gold. In the beginning, Henry was accustomed to light duties. ...I'd never considered a Numatic Henry before, for the price (I paid £94 @ Comet) he seemed a little basic. The Numatic Henry Vacuum Cleaner
--------------------------------
For those who are unaware of the 'Henry' hoover, it's the kind of hoover you always see the cleaners pushing around at work. They're small, but have a 1100 watt motor, and quite a large capacity too.
It's ideal for our small house, where space is at a minimum. However, don't underestimate it's ability to clean large houses too - why do you think they are used in ... ...for around £90 - but the price varies), durable, small, light and pretty powerful.
It comes with all the usual accessories - although I tend not to get to use them, so I can't really comment on how good they are! Unwinding the cord to use is easy, as you just pull on the cord, and it unravels from inside the top of the hoover. Tidying away the cord ...
