    Advantages Advantages Amusing, penetrating biography of the brothers, the band and the career

    Disadvantages Disadvantages That rather irritating typeface

    Once upon a time there were – still are – two brothers, Ron and Russell Mael. They were born in Culver City, California, in the 1940s. On the first page of this book, we are introduced to them in their pristine white house in California, decorated with Scandinavian-style furniture and lifesize prints of European street scenes. Ron collects sports figurines and snow globes, while Russell collects Russian dolls and autographed cereal boxes.
