5 Stars o2 Ice - cool and stylish! Review with images 30/11/2007

Advantages Advantages stylish, easy to use, wide variety of extras, cheap

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

About three months ago, my phone broke. I think the battery froze out or something, I'm not sure. But whatever the cause, I needed an emergency temporary phone for when I went away on holiday, which was unfortunately less than a week later! This meant I didn't have time to save for a new, decent phone, so I had to settle for a cheap handset - the Samsung C300. Though there is nothing wrong with this phone, it does the job required, but I was beginning to get extremely bored with its basic functions. Just as having a dull phone was starting to irritate me, my dad got himself a new model. This ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bit long in length and digital camera results could be better

Calling all O2 fans! this little beauty of a mobile phone is a must have! (or at least it was for me as my really old mobile was on it's last legs and I treated myself to a new one!) Price: You won't believe what a bargain this one was, here's the lowdown: I am an O2 customer (O2 is my network provider), and went into my local O2 store to see there selection. Pretty good really and good service in the shop too (friendly staff with a good knowledge of the products, and on a busy Saturday afternoon too!) The phone was priced at £59.99, I traded in my old mobile so got £10.00 of this price, and a ... more

    Advantages Advantages Looks good, cheap.

Disadvantages Disadvantages the tiny list of advantages.

This is the only phone I've bought outright, I was sick of Hand-me-down models and wanted something a bit more "with it" This phone instantly caught my eye with its sleek shape (what they call "candy bar" apparently) and dazzling white colour. I think it helped that i had just bought a gorgeous white belt and shoes...anyway! I was also reeled in by the fantastic price of this piece of kit, a lot cheaper than other models out there and it comes (most of the time) with a free blue tooth head set (which I convinced myself I would use all the time. Its been out of its box once) Other funky little ... more

I had a bit of a problem with my old mobile (as in dirt got inside while I was under a car) and took out a couple of chips. I then decided I needed a new phone and went to the supermarket to look for one. I wanted a different network to virgin preferably O2 as most of my mates are with them and this phone was on end of line clearance for £50. It was easily the best phone there for that price so i bought it. As soon as I got it home I was straight into finding out what it could do. The first thing I did after putting it together was top up which was fairly simple and painless (except to my bank ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, good looking, good network

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not many features, seems quiet compared to nokia 7373,

I got this phone from a family member and to be honest. Apart from seeing it around I didn't know the phone at all. This review is completely from my own experiences. Looks - The phone is white, and I mean white. I was worried it would get dirty quickly but it is easy to wipe with a baby wipe and comes out looking quite new again. It is a candybar shape with a lovely rounded top and bottom. Unlike many phones it only has a volume button and memory card slot on its sides and a combined battery/data cable socket in the bottom. On the back is a camera with self photo mirror and speaker. The phone ... more

The O2 Ice. On paper, it looks pretty amazing. A 3G phone, with 1.3 mega pixel camera, video camera, MP3 player with impressive format compatibility, bluetooth capabilities, and being on O2 you get a pretty good deal on tariffs as well. But does it live up to all of that? That was the question I was asking myself as I searched for a new phone. I stumbled upon the Ice and simply thought "it's too good to be true". It has all those features...and only for around £60. I debated with myself for a while, and thought there must be some catch (as mine came with a 1GB memory card and a bluetooth ... more

I tended to go for Nokia phones in the past, but when i broke my last phone i wanted something that was cheap. I have been with o2 for a few years so i wanted to stick with my same network and when i came across the o2 Ice in a catalogue for around £80, i thought it looked like a nice phone even if it was just for a little while but ive had the phone for over 2 months now and im quite happy just to stick with this one. The phone is nice looking, slim and white with a curved top and bottom. It also has all the same features that a lot of the more expensive phones have - bluetooth, games, camera ... more

So it was my birthday last month and my mum decided to get me a new phone as i was carrying around a reall really old brick type Nokia! Hey, what can i say? I'm a skater! I'd end up breaking any good phones i got, surely?! Well the big day came around, my 20th coincidentaly! and my mum left it until the last present. Upon opening the wrapping paper, i was a little worried at first as all i could see was a picture of a white gadget (i had just got a new iPod Video from my dad) and i thought mum had got the same, but to my delight, it was a new o2 Ice! The Phone: Looks - The o2 Ice is a funny ... more
