Getting an o2 dongle had never really felt like something I would ever need to buy, as I always have had internet provided by a big name internet provider in my house so that I can receive broadband. However, as of recently my contract ended and I knew I'd be moving flat in 2 months so the point in starting a new contract up and paying cancellation fees just didn't seem like an option. This is when the idea of a dongle seemed like the best idea and having my phone with o2 I wanted the dongle with them too as I think they provide a good service. APPEARANCE With the o2 dongles, you can get them ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to install. Broadband with a phone line

Disadvantages Disadvantages Connection speed dependent on O2 signal strength.

Due to circumstances beyond my control I was unable to persuade BT to supply me with a standard home phone line and am unable to receive any form of broadband through the ‘Pay & Call’ line that they would allow, but I still wanted to be able to access the internet. Advantages Advantages Small, easy to use, great deals

Disadvantages Disadvantages If obtained on contract the contract will be for 24 months

I went down to the o2 store to see what they could offer me, I managed to get the o2 usb modem E169 for free, the monthly price plan was meant to be £14.99 but at the time they had it on offer at £9.79 per month for the first 4 months which was great considering I got 3GB a month and unlimted use of wi-fi. The contract was for 24 months and the price plan could be changed at any point. I ... more

Advantages Advantages quick, easy and good value for money

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I have heard in the past that these were not as good as home broadband, but in my opinion its just as good, especially as i am in rented accomodation and there is no cable point installed already. This product was really easy to install only took about 15 minutes and it was ready to use. The other thing i liked was that i could try the product for 30 days and if i didnt like it could return it. I cant find any negative points to write about this product as i havent found any at all yet. I dont think that i would be changing back to home broadband at all as i can take this anywhere with me, and ... more
