    My cuticles in particular are always very dry and I am conscious of it especially when I am out and about. You use your hands a lot when talking to someone and everyone always notices your hands first whether in good shape or not. When your hands are looking good you're more likely to talk more with your hands and are less likely to hide them away. When you look down at your hands, if there looking good, you are going to feel good and vice versa.     -- Reasons for buying -- I bought this for the same reason many people buy cuticle oil, to prevent or cure cracked, dry cuticles. All our nails and cuticles become dry due to things like the weather, manual labour and everyday chores (washing dishes). My cuticles get extremely dry as I'm always using chemicals and putting my hands in water, I'm really busy so don't always find the time to use moisturiser which has dried out my nails and cuticles a lot.     I’ve never had particularly strong nails, which frustrates me when my nails easily break, and so I bought this Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil to see if it strengthened and conditioned my nails and whether it really worked. The packaging was a small easy accessible cardboard box, with the small glass bottle containing the replenishing oil. However I sometimes fear that it may break under pressure or by being dropped.     We all have “hero” products, things that really do what they are supposed to do and that we wouldn’t do without. OPI’s Avoplex Cuticle Replenishing Oil is one of mine. Avoplex cuticle oil is a nourishing, moisturising treatment for the cuticles. It’s made from concentrated avocado oil and because it doesn’t contain mineral oils or lanolin, it’s safe to use on artificial nails. It comes in a clear 15ml bottle with a brush to apply it with just the same as nail polish.     OPI has made yet another brilliant product. This one works as well as nail envy does. This is called Avoplex Nail and cuticle replenishing oil and it certainly does that. I have never actually bought this but my mum buys it and i nick it and use it (i do put it back though!) What does it look like? It comes in a clear glass bottle with a white brush/handle/lid and its easy to grip to unscrew it. The oil itself is a pale yellowish colour like the same colour as olive oil.     I first received a bottle of OPI Avoplex as a charistmas present. I have never had good nails. I used to only use Nail Envcy but have found that since I have started using this aswell the effects are dramatic. It is simply a Nail and Cuticle Replenishing Oil that you put on the bottom of your Nail and Cuticle and massage in. The bottle is a little expensive but you only need a small amount and so you will probably be surprised at how long this lasts.     Purchased from QVC (widely available on E Bay and other beauty sites), this product is very pleasantly scented, avocado based cuticle oil which is designed to hydrate the cuticles/nails like “a drink for your nails”. It is a simple brush on oil which you apply around the cuticles and then massage in, preferably twice daily. You cannot overuse this product, especially at times when the central heating is being put on and hands become dry.     I had high hopes in this product after i heared so much good about it but it hasen t help my nails from splitting and peeling. You can pay up to £17 on the high steet for this and i think for what it does its way to expensive. I bought it online for £8 with is still a lot for a nail product. It does help tp moisturize your cuticuls but thats all it does and i have seen other products cheaper that do the same thing. I like the smell of it and if you are looking for a cuticule oil and have no further nail problems this is quite a good product ( if you are willing to pay the price for it) ... more

    Again, another hero product from the OPI range. A cuticle oil then some, in that it nourishes the nail bed, and so helps the nail that has not yet appeared. Easy to apply with a brush, it can be put around the cuticles, and gently massaged around the nail bed and fingers. I also found, that it helped with a burn I had on my hand, as by applying it over the scar, it helped take the redness out, and the scar although not disappeared is less noticeable that it was before, and during the first healing stage, it also seemed to help hydrate the skin.
