Advantages: Hours and hours of fun Disadvantages: apart from being a bit frustrating none
I want to do this review because i have just started playing it again and i am completely hooked.
I think it such a good game, i played this game when it first came out, and since then it has been left on the shelf.
One evening the children were in bed there was not alot on the tv so i had a hunt through all our games and found abes, and now i am glued to the game again.
Abes back ground.
Abe is a funny looking bluey green creature called ...

Abe is Ace Review ofOddworld: Abe's Exoddus (PlayStation)by
cicymru
Advantages: see article Disadvantages: see article
An addictive game that gets better as you go along. Abe is a funny little creature that stumbled on the fact that his masters were killing off all the factory workers to put in the tinned food. As he is discovered he has to try to escape wihich is where you come in and control him. A good platform game that takes some mastering to get used to the moves which there are many of. Well worth playing just to get Abe to stick his tounge out and blow a rasberry ...

how good is this? Review ofOddworld: Abe's Exoddus (PlayStation)by
Themastertaylor
Advantages: tough Disadvantages: none
admittedly the game isn't as good as it's predecesor. then again who cares when you can run around shouting 'follow me' in a croaky voice all over again. for fans of the original i'll tell you now what you want to know - abe still farts. the puzzles are fiendishly hard - especially if you want to save all the mudokans. the graphics are stunning as are the cut scenes, sound is great and it lasts ages!
i love it, the controls are hard to grasp at first ...

Advantages: Very funny, good fun to play Disadvantages: Gets repetitive but not too much
Abe's Exodus is a very good game. It is a great deal better than its predecessor, which, let's face it, was alright, but needed a lot of ipmprovement.
This game is better for many reasons. For one thing, it has a Quiksave option which means you don't have to repeat half the level every time you die.
Secondly, it's more challenging. It's a lot harder than the first one in every respect so don't just think that Quiksave will make life easier - ...

Advantages: Fun, addictive and well priced Disadvantages: Many pad functions to remember - keep the guide handy
I was always into platform games - strategy ones at that! Remember Manic Miner on the Spectrum!?
Abes Exodus is a real delight. Excellent Graphics, sounds and atmosphere. The cinematics really do set the scene and these guys do have a sense of humour - One of the functions is 'FART' - and Abe does! (farting does have a purpose in the game honest)... Multi-platforms, wierd enemies and brill' puzzles all make this a classic for me!

Advantages: An interesting game to play or watch Disadvantages: Too addictive - if that's possible
I use the Playstation to play the strategy games like Devil Dice with simple controls that I can remember easily even when the going gets fast. If I try to use any of the platform games I am soon out of my depth as the controls get more complicated as the game progresses.
Abe's Exodus however was a game that both my partner and I could play. He sat at the controls doing all the shooting, rolling, jumping etc and a lot of the strategy and I sat ...

This is anotherhard trail for yourself to control abe around the brewery. this brewery brews a sort of alchohol which if you drink it you fart with this fart you cancontrol it and make it explode. the sligs and leaders (glukkon) dont like this so they make the modokons work hard and not let them drink the alchohol. like abes oddessey you have to save the modokon race from the sligs and other creatures. this is ...

Advantages: Great thinking, however amusing game Disadvantages: Maybe it'd be better in 3D
Yep, you guessed it. Having freed his skin frm the Mudokon food plants in Abe's Oddysee, Abe returns in his sequal, Abe's exoddus.
Abe discovers that the dead members of his species are being exhumed so their bones can be used for the fermentation of a new soft drink!
Abe returns to investigate and learns that a secondary ingredient are the tears of his people - necessitating some rather crude refining techniques by the Glukkons responsible. ...

Advantages: IN THE OPINION Disadvantages: NOTHING AT ALL
ABES EXODUS IS THE BEST MOST COMPLEXED GAMES EVER ON ANY FORMAT, TWICE AS BIG AS THE ORIGINAL,
This game follows on from the first game at the start of the game it takes you through the story so far, and Abe has possessed more special powers including one really funny one that allows him to posses his own farts and use them as portable grenades,
The game has twice the farts, levels and creepy crawlies that make this game really brilliant, the ...
