Olays new name now creates global consistency

Advantages: Skin feels smooth and silky
Disadvantages: None

...second thought I answered some Oil of Ulay. My family trailed through the shops but could not find the product I required. Of course I had forgot to mention the name had now changed to Oil of Olay. What the hell was that all about? The makers Proctor and Gamble only changed it by one letter and I understand the reason was the word Olay instead of Ulay was much easier to say in certain countries. The word Ulay was often mistook for the word greasiness ...
...beginning of 2003 the words Oil of have been dropped from the packaging altogether. Although I have sensitive skin I knew it would be all right to use the moisturizing fluid, as I had used my mother in laws on quite a few occasions. She did mention that at my old age of 43 I really should be using a moisturizer daily, as it would keep the skin feeling soft and silky. You will have fewer wrinkles when older she laughed. I looked into her face and ...

As always mum knows best

Advantages: easily absorbed, pleasant smell, not too greasy
Disadvantages: has a reputation for being for the older woman

...what kind of a reputation Oil of Olay has. It is for the older woman who wants to look younger. Being only 18 i dont have older skin so i thought it would be pointless, (feel free to hate me by the way if you buy this for its anti-ageing qualities). Anyway the cream smelled nice when i applied it and it was extremely easily absorbed. It left no grease on my face, which is combination by the way. I have a really oily T-Zone and dry cheeks. This makes ...
...they are always too greasy for my T-Zone or not rich enough for my cheeks. Olay was different. It balanced out my skin and it even kept grease at bay which is important for a teenager. I used the rest of my mum's bottle, she wasnt best pleased and then i went out to buy myself some more, the price was about Ģ5 for a 75ml bottle, cheap compared to Clarins etc and not much pricier than supermarket own brands, but leagues ahead of both. The packaging ...

I'm told that I don't look my age

Advantages: Makes my skin feel lovely
Disadvantages: None

...(and sometimes both) I get Oil of Olay Active Beauty Fluid. Now, this isn’t a case of my friends and relatives trying to tell me I look old, at least I don’t think it is – maybe I should check on that one. As far as I know it is just that they all know that this is my favourite moisturiser. I have tried quite a few over the years and I always come back to Oil of Olay and if I am lucky enough to get a couple of 200ml bottles at this time of year, ...
...your skin is very sensitive Oil of Olay also make a hypoallergenic version of this product. I use this fluid at least once, sometimes twice a day, after cleansing my skin. All I have to do is squeeze an amount about the size of a 5p piece from the bottle onto my hand and then gently massage it into the skin on my face and neck. I don’t even have to avoid the area around my eyes. It is absorbed very quickly and leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft, ...

I thought Oil of Olay was for over 40s

Advantages: IT WORKS
Disadvantages: Not the cheapest on the market

...have always thought that the Oil of Olay range was for people over 40 who wanted to make their skin feel and look young again. I must admit that my perception of Oil of Olay was probably gained from the Oil of Olay adverts which USE TO appear on our television screens. At the age of 16 I had not used any moisturisers on my face at all. However I found that my face had suddenly started becoming dry so I hit the shops to buy one of the teenage moisturisers ...
...and saw a advert for Oil of Olay. The advert made me think that it wasn't just for the over 40's so the next day I popped down to my local chemist and bought myself some Oil of Olay moisturising fluid. I have been using Oil of Olay for the last six months and it has solved my problems with spots and dry skin. I think that Oil of Olay has the right formulation which moisturises my face but also because its not greasy it prevents the spots coming ...

WANNA BE AN OIL PAINTING GET OIL OF OLAY

Advantages: skin is smooth after using and it is lasting
Disadvantages: smelt abit like baby lotion

...and do we think using OIL OF OLAY makes us think we are getting old, I mean isn't it only middle aged women that use it. Well I am 32 and I am becoming fast aware that THE LINES ARE COMING, HELLLLPPPPP!! Source of eternal youth...

Advantages: light and non-greasy while still moisturising
Disadvantages: the very last bit of cream in the bottle can be difficult to get out!

I have very sensitive skin and most conventional beauty creams make me break out in a horrible rash that will stay on my face for days - so much for 'beauty' products! As my skin is also really dry, except of course for the dreaded T-zone, I am always hunting for face creams that will moisturise without making me look like I've got chickenpox after using it. I would not have decided to try Olay beauty fluid unless my sister had insisted that I should ...

However, I tried my sister's beauty fluid one night when my face was feeling particularly tired and dry and I was surprised at the smooth feeling it left without any itchiness or allergic reaction whatsoever. The day after I still had not had a reaction and my skin felt smooth and, dare I say it, wrinkle-free. Obviously I went straight ...

I love you lay

Advantages: Nice smell, easily absorbed, makes skin soft
Disadvantages: Thinking hard, but canīt think of any

Oil of Olay classic beauty fluid I can still smell my sister walking around as a teenager after putting Oil of Ulay on (as that is what it was called back then) Now theyīve changed it to "Oil of Olay". I was just a child then, with difficulties to pronounce the name, I simply called it "I love you lay". Pink things are good

Advantages: Soft skin, pretty colour, cheap
Disadvantages: dry skin might need richer product

This product is as old as the hills, and is always mentioned in ‘Classic Beauty Product’ roundups. With this in mind, I decided to finally test it for myself one day. It’s readily available from Boots and Superdrug, and as it’s such a longstanding product, you can find it in most chemists as well. It comes in a plastic bottle of two sizes, which is clear to reveal the soft pink colour of the lotion. The bottle comes inside ...
...waste of card, but does add that more expensive 'gift-wrapped' feel to it. A small hole in the bottle means easy to pour out a small amount at a time. The lotion is subtly perfumed, quite floral/middle-aged, but gentle, and doesn’t last long. RESULTS I tend to dot it lightly over my face, and find that as the lotion is so smooth, it blends in really easily, and doesn’t leave any grease behind. It usually leaves my skin feeling quite ...

For smooth and sexy pins

Advantages: pleasant smell, easily absorbed
Disadvantages: none

I first heard about Oil of Olay Active Beauty Fluid was from my mum who had heard about it from her mum and so on. This cream has been recommended down generations in my family for its value as a facial cream, contained in user friendly packaging it is also easy to apply and absorbs into skin rapidly leaving it looking smoother and feeling fresher. It comes in a sensitive skin version so is ideal for the face and delicate eye area, and eliminates ...

So being a believer in multiple uses of products, i decided to give it a trial as a post-shave cream for my legs. Suffering from eczema i was astonished at the difference between the Oil of Olay Active Beauty Fluid and my many prescriptions creams, gels, and emollients, in that it did not ...

NOT AN OLD WRINKLY

Advantages: you will be lovely and young looking :o)
Disadvantages: none

My mum gave me some Oil Of Olay as a present a while ago and it has been in a drawer in the bedroom since. I was at my old Aunties funeral yesterday, as some of you know and my mum who is 85 and her two sisters who are 87 and 92 were there as well. The compliments were flying about “ oh! You are so young looking for your age “ to all of them Now this is something that is usually said to me quite a bit but not one, no! Not even one said ...
...my Oil Of Ulay :o) It’s in the usual Ulay bottle a flat see through bottle with the black and silver name on the front. It has easy to remove twist off black lid. The cream is a lovely shade of pink and it smells nice too, just a very light perfume, hardly there at all. You don’t need mush I squeezed out a bit too much but luckily I have a big face Lol. It feels lovely and I will try to remember to use it regularly. I will put it on ...

Never too much Olay

Advantages: Absorbed quickly
Disadvantages: None

I have been using Oil of Olay (or Ulay as it used to be) since I was 14 years old. My mother used it and I started off by using hers. 25 years on and I'm still using it daily. It is a very light moisturiser and is quickly absorbed into the skin. I have tried other moisturisers along the way and find them heavy, leaving a greasy film on my face, so I always go back to Oil of Olay.Having a slightly greasy / combination skin Oil of Olay definitely ...
...When I first started using Oil of Olay it was quite expensive, but it is a relative cheap alternative these days if you shop around. I've found Asda to be one of the cheapest places - Ģ2.29 for to 100ml size. It comes in 100ml and 200ml bottles. The larger one is great for the dressing table and the smaller one can easily be thrown into a toiletry bag for travelling. ...

Disadvantages: Can't think of any

...moisturisers, one of which was Oil of Olay Active Beauty Fluid. I find that this is very easy to spread onto the skin, being very light and not too thick, and it is also equally easily absorbed. On using it, I find my skin immediately feels nicer and softer. During the day I notice that my skin continues to feel softer. I sometimes put it on my hands if I don't have anything else around, but it really doesn't have the right ...
