...it there.
I first was prescribed Oilatum at about the age of ten.I have used it ever since whenever I feel the need to.Right!I have finally got around to the product.......
THE BOTTLE ITSELF
As I am prescibed this by the Doctor, and have to pay for my prescriptions,I am given the 500ml size.It is quite a substantial bottle, and looks like some sort of terrible chemical for fertilising crops.
It is made of a thick plastic, and is a wonderful ...

Advantages: Nice soft skin Disadvantages: Slippy goings on
...dry. I just add Oilatum to my bath in the evening, and hey presto a great form of aftersun. I also find it good as the water can be quite hard leaving the skin feeling rubbery, it also stops that too.
So really no matter weather you feel you don't need this product, you would be wrong because it has an ongoing list of uses. It is also non perfumed so it is good for people who can't use perfumed products.
How much do you need to put in?

Advantages: helps to ease eczema Disadvantages: makes the bath a bit slippery
...compared to bathing without the oilatum in the water. The dry eczema patches seemed to have softened slightly. The next day her skin had become very dry and itchy as it always does when I bath her. I was disapointed.
This was not the end of my experience with oilatum, as it can also be used as a soap substitute, applied in small amounts directly onto the skin. I decided to give this a try.
I have always found that showering Jessica dries her ...

...keep the little dears clean. Oilatum contains liquid parrifin, which is remarkably good for this condition. It's a clearish liquid that smells like you could probably get into trouble if you spent too long smelling it. Oily,is the main word that springs to mind. The packaging is simple, functional, easy to get into and easy to use. It comes with totally coherrent instructions. All you do is add a few capfulls to the bath and let the little one have ...

I put it down to having to have more baths since we moved house, we used to have showers all the time but since we moved, we've not been able to fit a shower, its going to be ...

Only so-so Review ofOilatum Bath Emollientby
fiedis
Advantages: extra protection for dry skin Disadvantages: cleaning the bath-tub!
The bath-emollient can be useful if you suffer from eczema, but only if you use no soap or bubble-bath; both break-up the film of oil the emollient is supposed to leave on your skin as you get out of the bath.
I use Aqueous Cream as a washing agent, but using it together with this bath-emollient caused much slipperiness in the grease stakes! On its own, though, the Neutrogena product isn't a cleanser.
Its use is also restricted to baths unless ...

Advantages: Eases itching and keeps skin supple Disadvantages: Very slippery
I don't have excema on my body just my hands, but i do suffer from dry skin which can get itchy in the winter months from the cold and central heating.
I have used this product for a number of years and have always found that it calms my skin down perfectly.
It is unfortunately quite expensive, but worth every penny to have skin that doesn't itch.
It does make the bath very slippy so i would recommed caution when climbing out of the bath and also ...
