Advantages Advantages Deeply cleanses, evens skin tone, minimises pores, gentle on skin

Disadvantages Disadvantages Thermal heat is non existent, apart from that none!

Throughout my late teens and early twenties I took the youthful complexion of my skin for granted. When it comes to our complexions we are not all created equal and during my life my skin has endured all manor of ailments including spots, blemishes and enlarged pores on the apples of my cheeks, possibly the worst of all skin conditions not to mention a battering from the elements. Now in my mid thirties, those tell tale signs of ageing are beginning to appear and as prevention is better than cure I decided rather than just conceal with cosmetics I would attempt to tackle my skin problems head ... more

    Advantages Advantages Everything!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None, it's perfect

Being a fan of Olay products when I had a £5.00 of voucher to use against certain brands of products in Boot's I headed straight over to see what bargain I could grab! Now this product is one I hadn't used before but promising a 'mini dermo abrasion' if used regularly grabbed my attention and my voucher and £1.50 out of my purse and home it came with me to live in my bathroom! I suffer combination skin, in the worst way possible. Dry skin, deep frown wrinkles, oily t-zone, blackheads, some white heads, open pores and spots. I do like to wash my face but like most people find soap and stuff too ... more

Advantages Advantages skin feels really good, nice smell and texture, lasts for ages

Disadvantages Disadvantages price (but worth it)

I have very problem skin, spotty in places and very dry in others. I also have fairly sensitive skin and cannot use anything which contains strong perfumes. I have been searching a very long time for something that would help and I think I may finally have found it! I had been using the Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Cream wash which had made some improvement in my skin. It was feeling softer but I still had some dry patches and was still a bit spotty, which let's face it at 26 years old is not a good look. I saw this Thermal Skin Polisher next to the Cream Wash in Boots for £7.50. It was ... more

Advantages Advantages Too many to list!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Heat can be uncomfortable

Olay Daily thermal Skin Polisher is something that I have used on and off for around 18 months now. It is not something I'd usually buy but every now and again I'll get one of those £5 skincare vouchers from Boots, and this is one of the products that you can get quite cheaply with them (I think I paid 99p last time, making it £5.99 normally). Olay Thermal Skin polisher is a self heating exfoliating cleanser, and claims to give the look of a mini peel when used regularly. Bold claims! The cleanser comes in a chunky 125 ml flip top tube; it is a very pale purple in colour and is a reasonably ... more

Advantages Advantages Can be used easily every day in the shower. Leaves skin soft & clean.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not mini face peel quality. Prooduct can congeal around lid.

This product from the Olay regenerist cleansers range is the first exfoliator that I have used that has self-heating properties within it so I was very curious to try it out, especially as the advertising hype centres largely around the claim that with consistent use, over time, this product can give the skin the appearance of a mini facial peel which would be fantastic if true... This pale pink cream comes in a 125ml tube and cost me around £7.50 at the time of purchase (although it can be bought cheaper online) and contains micro-crystals that help to lift off dead skin cells, thereby giving ... more
