    Advantages Advantages Amazing photo quality

Disadvantages Disadvantages It drains the battery very very quickly

This camera offers outstanding picture quality, with a sexy style camera. What more can you ask for? It is kinda bulky, but not to the extent that it would proove to be a nuisance. My mother recieved this gift as a christmas present and has cherished the small amount of time she has used it for so far. It easily downloads onto any PC via camedia, and can there be digitally enhanced to improve the quality just thet little bit more. There is very little loss of quality when you print the image, although it is definately worth using quality photo paper. It also offers a very wide range o feature ... more

Advantages Advantages Stylish, Simple to use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Fairly Bulky

I received the olympus C-300 ZOOM camera almost 2 and a half years ago for my birthday. At the time it was one of the best the best mid-range digital cameras on the market, and even now, 2 and a half years, on it still does the job it was bought for, and does it well. The camera is a matt-silver colour on the front, and a dark matt-grey colour on the back. It has a 1.5 inch LCD display screen on the back for viewing photos, or for using as a view finder. It has fours directional buttons for selection in menus and for moving the view around zoomed in photos. It has two extra buttons underneath ... more

    Advantages Advantages Great quality images

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A little chunky

The stats on this digital camera are as follows: - 3.0 Megapixels res - 2.8x zoom - Several picturetype options (portrait/Landscape etc) - Short Movie capabilities - LCD screen - USB connection and win xp/Mac x compatable. This was my first digital camera purchase, although i have used others before and don't really have any complaints about it. It has excellant photo quality, and a very good editing program with it to play with the photo's as you wish - including the options for photo sized prints and postcards for your holiday snaps. It is an extremly easy to use camera and the batteries are ... more

Advantages Advantages Takes Great Pictures, nice functions

Disadvantages Disadvantages Size, Olympus cards needed panarama function

This camera takes great pictures, and when printed the quality easy matches if not surpasses that of a 35mm camera. However, this will definitely beat an APS camera in quality. This however, if I camera to take on holiday and not a digital camera to keep in your pocket. I got a Samsonite trekking case for the camera as these are much better than the Olympus cases and think that is a recommended purchase with the camera as is a good battery recharger. The camera does come with some nice functions but you will find that it does take quite a long time to charge these and often you will just leave ... more

Advantages Advantages Fantastic Quality, Movies, can take High Memory, Zoom

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bit Bulky, battery power isnt excellent

My first digital. This one is for taking pictures to be proud of, very quickly, without making any effort. The quality obtained is so good it obviates all other considerations. This is not noticeably better than friends' cameras, say Fuji 6800, but they paid twice as much. Whats response time? If a UFO appeared in front of you, you might do better here than with something in a higher price range, or something that could be easily dropped. Constantly-deployed flash is what the camera requires. I would not want nasty scratchy sound [eg. the Fuji], especially if this interfered with movie mode ... more

Advantages Advantages Olympus's smart digital camera

Disadvantages Disadvantages not very powerful zoom

this camera is great for someone who's new to digital photography. it operates like a normal film camera (apart from the TFT screen and setup). its got an easy to use zoom, the zoom is the only bad thing about the camera it's powerful enough for average use but for the expert its just not powerful enough. the camera uses smart media cards but can be converted to take other cards. i've had my camera for about a year and have had no problems at all. The usb cable makes light work of the uploading of photos. the quility of photos is great, 3 million pixels is more than enough for perfect prints ... more

Advantages Advantages IDIOT PROOF - Easy to Use!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Picture Display not protected

Superb little camera, easy to use and I can confirm from experience..... IDIOT PROOF! The only downfall in design is poor protection for the Picture Display Screen as this is easily messed with fingerprints, deisgn could have added a shutter to protect this...... future design suggestion, perhaps! The instruction manual is easy to follow, detailed / informative. The facilities available to you are ideal for the standard everyday user, zoom, contrast, brightness etc very easy to set up and overall I would recommend this Olympus c-300Zoom digital camera without hesitation, and not only for ... more

Advantages Advantages Very good picture quality

Disadvantages Disadvantages Batteries last a very short time

This was the first digital camera I had and it's still my favourite. The picture quality is excellent and even when using the digital zoom picture quality is still very good. It is a little bulky but not to an extent that should put you off this camera. When using the flash or recording video (picture only, this camera does not support sound recording.) the batteries do not last for a huge amount of time. The Pros definitely outweigh the cons and I would not hesitate to recommend the C-300Zoom to any of my friends. One this I would suggest is that you also get the camedia rechargable battery ... more

Advantages Advantages quality, price, pakage(luxury pack only)

    Disadvantages Disadvantages easy of use

Very good entry level camera, many will be happy with quality of pictures not the best but good enough for most of us. Go for luxury pack if you can afford. It is possible to buy luxury packt from online retailer for about £299 (internet only). Had this camera for one month would keep it much longer but some people do not like to pay for goods they prefer to take without owner autorisation. I will go for the same modell again. There is only couple of disadvantages this digital camera is not easy to use and zoom could be better. If You looking for entry level not very expensive digital camera ... more
