...digital camera. This is an Olympus Camedia C-350 Zoom; yes I know that it is not the best camera that you can buy! And yes I know that it has not got the every single feature that is available! Yes I know that other camera’s take better pictures and yes I know that I can go on and on for ages saying what it hasn’t got and what it cannot do, but I’m not going to so let’s go back a bit and say what I did get. I got ü 1 compact digital camera x 3.2m ...
...CD ü USB lead As part of a package I also purchased; ü 1 64mb card ü 1 charger ü 2 rechargeable batteries The price is irrelevant now, as the cost has come down by a huge amount!!! It also came with loads of little ‘instruction manuals’ or something not really sure what they are or what purpose they serve. It was whipped out of the box, the batteries were chucked in (instructions on a separate sheet of paper, very good) and I gave it to one ...

Worth £80 of anyone's money?

Advantages: Lightweight, good image quality, value for money
Disadvantages: Smallish XD memory card, and it eats batteries!

I bought this camera about two years ago as I started visiting museums around the country. I wanted a quality camera that had optical zoom, was at least 3 megapixels in quality, and was reasonably priced. Whilst on holiday in Tenerife, I searched high and low for cameras in Los Christianos, but ended up purchasing this from Dabs.com once I got back to the UK, for around £250. The main specs. of the camera are that it is a 3.2 megapixel camera with ...

The supplied 16 mb card wont hold a dozen pictures when the camera image quality is at its highest. Images at that high setting are quality photos that can (almost) be blown up to A4 without any pixelisation, but to take many pictures, you'll need to buy a larger xD memory card. I bought a 512mb card for under £40 on Amazon, ...

...a keen photographer and recommended Olympus as a good make when I was on the lookout for a digital camera. It was priced at around £180 depending on where you bought it, which was about average for a non-professional digital camera at the time. My mum bought it for me in a larger Boots store (on a triple points day, I think). Inside the box, other than the camera was: - Camera strap - 16 mb xD-Picture card - 2 alkaline batteries - USB cable ...

When I connected the camera to the computer (another thing I found very easy) I was very happy with the quality of the photos. I have mixed feelings about this camera. I like the look and the quality of the pictures, but then what use is that if you couldn't take it on a day trip ...

Camedia is Cool

Advantages: Cheap, 3.2 MP, Optical Zoom
Disadvantages: Too many flaps for stuff like cards

I was recently after a new digital camera. As it was my second, I knew you needed a 3Million pixels (at least) effectiveness, and an optical zoom. The camera itself is really stylish, silver and thin, and it's made of tough plastic(don't drop it though!). However, the battery, memory card and USB connection points are dotted all around the camera, so you might have to get used to that. When I spotted this camera, Camedia C-350 Zoom, I was extremely ...
...three times digital zoom. It also had 3.2 million pixels. All for less than £130. Another point though, is the LCD screen, 1.8inch. I know I've only read the specs out yet, but they are great. Naturally, a large screen is great for viewing photos/short movies, but it doesn't half bite away at the battery lifespan. Battery lifespans aren't good in any new digital camera, as they run off AA, and can probably only live for 25mins, in this camera. ...

Tha camera uses 2 x AA alkaline batteries which do not last very long but a rechargable unit and batteries can be bought to save on cost. The camera will also accept a specialised Lithium battery and can also be run off of the mains using an AC adaptor. The pixel resolution is 3.2 million pixels, it has a 3x optical zoom and a 3.3x digital zoom. Also, for all ...

A 16MB picture card will shoot 48sec of high quality material and 211sec standard quality material (shooting at 15frames/sec.) All in all a lovely camera ideal for first time users of a digital camera who will be amazed by the clarity of the prints and wish they had purchased an Olympus C350z sooner. ...

...i was very surprised by, olympus really went to town on this one. Sizewise, the camera ia a little bigger than some of the models on offer from sony, but it does match its size with quality. It does delay ever so slightly before taking a picture in order to focus, but i have never found this to be a problem, and you shouldnt either unless you plan to photograph horse races, and even for that there is a quick succession function. The video image quality is slightly less than of the pictures, understandably, but still offers a worthy source of a quick "camcorder". The camera has a 3X optical zoom which delivers pin sharp photographs both on wide angle and telephoto. When using the digital zoom I found that the photographs became very ‘blocky’. The Olympus C-350Zoom is my first compact digital camera and to date I have been very pleased. The main use is for general lifestyle photos, family, holidays etc, and as such it needs to be compact, easy to use and above all fairly study, knowing that it will travel in pockets and bags. An excellent digital camera for beginners

Advantages: easy to use, excellent picture quality
Disadvantages: Display difficult to see in bright sunlight, supplied with small memory card

I purchased this camera around 12 months ago, having never owned or used a digital camera previously. I chose this particular camera as it was made by a reputable camera manufacturer and appeared to represent good value for money for a camera of this type. Having got the camera home and out of the box, I was delighted with how easy and intuitive the camera is to use. The menu is simple to navigate and there is no need to spend hours fathoming out ...

The focus is sharp and the quality of colour achieved ...

Olympus C-350 Zoom

Advantages: small, versatile, good quality, easy to download
Disadvantages: hard to view pics on camera, drains batteries

All in all I would have to say this is a very good camera although like everything it does have the odd drawback. The camera is very easy to use and has a digital and normal view finder for you to take your pictures through that allow you to take the picture you want to take. You can elect several properties to do with each picture such as quality, size and the distance at which you are taking the picture from. The camera has a good flash that will ...

Unless you are interested in filming the 100m at this years Olympics without the sound of the crowd, I think you will find this feature fairly pointless like I did, but it is always nice to know you can. The menus is easy to navigate with a small keypad and clear on screen instructions. However it can be quite a pain turning on the LCD screen as it does not come on automatically ...

Nice little camera at excellent price

Advantages: Speedy, lightweight camera
Disadvantages: uses xd cards

I bought an Olympus C-350Zoom as my second camera, replacing my older Kodak 215 camera and I have been very pleased with it. The camera cost me around £140 from Amazon a few months ago, but prices vary from one plakce to another. This came with a standard 8Mb card and normal bateries. The camera takes 2xAA batteries and you can buy a rechargable unit for it. The caerma itself takes xD memory cards, which was developed by Fuji and Olympus. The cards ...

Advantages: compact, easy to use, great quality photos
Disadvantages: having to close the shutter to view taken photos after about 5 seconds.

This is my second digital camera and so far in the last two months of owning it I haven't found anything to complain about. The functions are easy to understand. You do need to read the manual to get the basics at first but its not complicated. The camera is silver in colour light weight and will easily fit into a bag or pocket it has a wrist strap with it. Small, light weight and simple to use camera

Advantages: Small, light weight and simple to use camera
Disadvantages: limited features and difficult to take night time shots

If you dont know a lot about digital cameras and dont want to know then this is probably the camera for you. It really is a point and click camera. It takes great snaps without the need for any configuration or adjustment and you have to really try to get a blury shot! I have even managed to take quite a few good photos whilst driving along and pointing it through the windscreen of the car. Its simplicity and limited features does come at a cost ...
...it is that it is difficult to get a good night shot. The only way to get a decent photo at night when the object is under lights is to take at least 40 shots and delete 35 of them. The software that comes with it is not worth installing though - you are better off with the basic Windows XP photo programs or Google's Picasa application. I think it is good value for money and it has certainly served me well in all of my travels. ...
