Olympus VN-3600 is an extended version of the earlier two, low-capacity models: the VN-900 and VN-1800. Its size is as small as a mobile phone and the weight of it, is very light.
The VN-3600 is a big brother of earlier VN series (larger memory). You wouldn't need worry about the storage capacity, as it's capable of recording at an extended period of time.
The built-in memory size is 32MB (non removable/exchangeable).
There are simple features ... ...erase. It also matches its design, not too crowded and not too empty.
Additional buttons include: DISPLAY (for date, time, and time remaining) and MENU/FOLDER (select up to 4 folders for easy navigation). It's capable of storing 100 files per folder (depending on the recording length).
In the MENU mode, there are several options to customise your VN-3600; one of them is VCVA.

...thing i noticed with the olympus is its great design. easy to use and a compact size makes it perfect for placing on the desk in the lecture theatre and the pen clip also makes it easy to record yourself whilst on the go or if you are involved in public speaking.
Power of the recorder is 2x AAA batteries making it easy and cheap to replace when needed. The recording function is simple and the sound quality produced is clear and audible. there is ... ...have an extended range or one attached to your shirt. Playback is as simple as cycling through the recordings and hitting play. this can be then played throught the built in speaker or through a set of earphones for the more private playback. There is also a handy hold button which allows you to not accidently stop recording mid speech. The only downsides i could see is that you cannot transfer to computer which would be useful and that the off switch ...
