I've always been an Olympus camera fan, and have bought quite a few of them over the years - not because they're unreliable and need constant replacing, but because technology moves on and I don't like to get left behind! Bought this Camera for my new girlfriend last Xmas from Jessops, (around £250) and was very happy that I did. the major improvement compared to her last digital camera (a canon) was a nice big 2.5 inch large lcd screen and how economical the camera is on battery power. I bough this carema about a year ago as it was the best quality we could find for the lowest price- 6 mega pixels - right now Amazon have got it for 174.0 GBP. It takes really high quality pictures, the zoom is easy to use and the picture options and functions are great -I don't even know how to use them all yet. It does also take short videos although the is no mic which means videos are silent. I'm told there is a reason for this in photography ...

I'm no expert and this was the first time for me using this kind of software and I had no problems.
