Olympus µ[MJU:] 840

I recently purchased this camera and must say that I really like it. The selling point for me was that it has a 5X optical zoom, which very few compact digital cameras in this price range have. The zoom is fantastic quality. The photographs are vibrant and of very good quality. The one thing I have noticed is that the colours of the photograph shown on screen do not always match prints, but I believe this is common. I found the menu hard to master ...
...it is easy to navigate. The flash is good and not too bright. Only downfall is that it is not bright enough if you want to take pictures afar in darker spaces. Photographs I took of my brother´s graduation, in a large dimly lit auditorium, from afar, did not come out at all, zoom or not. But, overall, a really good, light, compact camera. ...

Advantages: A very easy to use camera with excellent user friedly software. Photos are superb clarity with great zoom. Small and compact. Suprisingly light. Disadvantages: Can be hard to see what is in t=eeh screen on very sunny days as there is no view finder. Overall a very compact, easy to use camera for the novice through to the enthusiasts. The sotware is not only easy to use but aslo stores photos by date order or in files - very helpful when locating old photos. ...
