Advantages Advantages Easy to use, great picture quality, long-lasting

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No viewer

I was given this camera, second hand, as a birthday present and I've been happy with it. It has a few faults, but then what camera doesn't? I'm not a great photographer. I take pictures of my friends at parties and events or different places when I go somewhere new. I imagine my style of photography is very similar to a large number of people; you point the camera, press a button and expect to get a decent photo out of it. I'd had my previous camera ages and it was also second hand. That was one of the early digital cameras. While the Olympus mju Mini has its drawbacks, I still prefer to use ... more

Advantages Advantages Sleek, stylish, trendy, small, easy to use.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Needs a larger memory card! 16mb is not enough!

The Olympus 4.0 megapixel Mini mju digital camera is something to admire. I've have previously owned two other digital cameras and neither of them were quite as impressive. The graphics were terrible, the memory was disappointing and they didn't look to stylish either. So how does it look? The mini mju is small, sleek (95 x 55.5 x 27.5mm) and available in a selection of colours, these are: Jewellery Silver Pure White Cosmic Black Crystal Blue Velvet Red Copper Orange I own the Jewellery Silver mini mju. Not only does the camera look good and feel good, it's also easy to use and only weighs ... more

Advantages Advantages Stylish, weatherproof, easy to use, metal body gives more durability

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor zoom and megapixels by todays standards

I have had my little Olympus Mju mini for 5 years now and I have to say it is an excellent little point and shoot digital camera. My husband bought it for me as a present way back in 2006 and to date, it is my one and only digital camera (I probably seem like an utter dinosaur now!). As far as I can remember, it cost approx £150 for the camera and we purchased it from our local Jessops store. We also purchased a spare battery, a leather case and a 128mb XD card to replace the rather paltry 16mb manufacturer supplied XD card. I have since gone on to purchase further XD cards as I have been ... more

Advantages Advantages Stylish, Light, Small, Six Colours, Fantastic LCD Screen for Reviewing Pics, Quick Start up

Disadvantages Disadvantages Focus isn't great sometimes

You've seen the advert. The one with the fish tank and the people on either side. Well if not, keep your eyes open, it was cool enough to get me looking around the camera shops for a christmas pressie! The MJU-mini digicam (Also known as the "Stylus Verve" in the US) is designed to be an improvement on the already very popular MJU. As a result, Olympus have had to do some very careful thinking about how to not let the fans down at this festive time of year. The Answer? This sexy piece of kit! Before I get down to all the tech specs, Olympus have quite cleverly made their camera into a fashion ... more

Advantages Advantages stunning looks and takes good pictures

Disadvantages Disadvantages Doesn't have the features or mega pixels of some newer cameras

small but oh o perfectly formed The Olympus mju mini camera has to be one of the best camera I have ever owned. I have had it for years now and it may be a little behind the times when it comes to features and mega pixels but it could still beat some other new cameras that are on the market. First of all the mju mini is in my opinion the best looking camera that has ever been available. I got it out today to have a look at it before writing this review and it still looks ultra modern and the design is better than any other camera that is out in the shops at the minute. This is one stylish ... more

Advantages Advantages Excellent quality of build, easy to use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor Zoom function

When first receiving my Olympus µ[MJU:] Mini DIGITAL camera for my 18th birthday I took it out of the box and was instantly impressed. It immediately looks stylish, compact and with an ergonomic shape. The MJU mini fulfils its purpose excellently - a compact camera with decent image quality which you can take with you, anywhere. Being a student I have taken mine on nights out in my pocket and hardly noticed it is there, it weighs a little more than my mobile phone and is also only a little bigger. I am yet to submit the MJU to the elements to test it's all weather housing but am confident that ... more

Advantages Advantages compact design, easy to use, great photos

    Disadvantages Disadvantages lack of features

his is an amazing little camera, I received my Olympus mju mini for a Christmas present a few years ago now when it first hit the shops and I have been totally impressed with it since. I was immediately drawn to its cute, compact, curvy design and the availability of it in a variety of colours. I have the baby pink camera and it still looks great today. It is a very sturdy design even though it is tiny as the case is made of metal and not plastic as with some of the cheaper cameras. My camera has been dropped a couple of time but has never broken. The only thing this camera lacks is features ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages zoom, xd

I got bought this as a gift so i can not say that i went around trying to pick the best camera for me. I've had it for about three months and have got familiar with it and how it works. First thing when you open the box is that you realise that this cool. In black this is a funky little thing (and it is little - comparable size to a deck of cards). Whenever i take it out i always get a positive comment about how it looks. You all the usual gubbins.... charger, usb cable, small memory card etc. Charge the battery up and your ready to go. The camera is incredibly simple to use with three basic ... more

Hey there... just thought id write a quick review on this camera seen as though i have one! I used to have the orindary mju beforehand - which was very technical full of amazing functions i never used... it was more for the professional photographer! And if you look at my homepage you will see i dont do professional photos - just random ones! So i brought this baby mju - its like a fun version of the mummy mju! Its soo small and compact and does everything i want it to, exceot i cannot turn the screen off so it wears the battery down low quite quick! So prepare to take your charger EVERYWHERE ... more

Advantages Advantages small, easy to use, durable

Disadvantages Disadvantages poor zoom, could have more megapixels

My favourite thing about this camera is its style and from experience most of my friends agree. It is really aesthetically pleasing, as well as being ergonomic. It pleases the eye and the metalic finish really sets it off. However the camera has also prooved to be very practical and is very quick and easy to use. The 5 megapixels are more than enough and at that level it means that on the computer editing can easily be done without the loss of quality. One feature i do feel is poor is the zoom, it is a 2x optical zoom and on many ocassions it has been 'ok' (i.e. when you want to focus in on ... more
