Onkyo CR-515DAB

Advantages: yes
Disadvantages: no

IF you are short on space and money but want a proper sounding system then i strongly recomend you trial one of these little gems. I am a new student living in halls so i needed something a bit smaller than my old sony reciever i was using at home. ...playback in particular. I couldn't test DAB because my area doesn't get a signal. One tip: There's a button on the front marked "Direct". It took me a few weeks to spot this (it's a paragraph in the manual). Switching it on bypasses the tone control circuitry and makes a subtle but welcome improvement in the sound, especially with classical music. ...
