    - Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein - As anyone who regularly works out will know, good nutrition is vital to development. Whether you lift weights at the gym, or train for a sport, one of the most fundamental aspects of diet is adequate protein intake. What is protein? Protein is essentially the body's building blocks, allowing your body to adapt and grow stronger after a good workout by rebuilding your muscles. Advantages Advantages Quality, Taste, Mixability, Aminogen

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Price,

I have used ON 100% Whey many times now and it truly is a very high quality protein powder. It comes in a variety of flavours and sizes and from personal experience i would say that chocolate or choc mint are the best flavours. Having Tried Cookies n Cream (too sweet) / Rocky Road (very chemical taste) and Double Rich Choc (not as good as ordinary choc) i would say stick to the usual flavours. It is a little bit more expensive than it's rivals because it contains aminogen but it is very high quality. I would recommend getting the 10lb Bag from Monster Supplements as its only just over £50 ... more

Advantages Advantages 23g of quality protein in one tasty scoop, contains essential amino acids, good value for money!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I've been using this powder for two and a half years and I have never had a single complaint about it. It tastes great, it mixes well - It does everything you need it to. Since I started using Optimum Nutrition I feel like I've gone from zero to hero in the weight room. I have no doubt that a decent protein supplement is one of the most important staples in any bodybuilder's diet, from newbie to advanced bodybuilder. Personally I have it about 5 mins after my workout which helps give me a boost. I honestly believe it works so well that I can actually feel my muscle tissue repairing after I ... more

Advantages Advantages build muscle with low cholesterol

Disadvantages Disadvantages low protein compare to gold standard

compare to 100% Whey Gold Standard, it has more benefits. First, it has lower sodium and cholesterol. Even though the protein is lesser than gold standard but it is cheaper. It has other benefits such as potassium etc. It is natural and i taste it and it was amazing. I taste the chocolate and banana cream and the chocolate is better. You would like the taste after your first serving. It was recommended for the price conscious buyer. Low fat and carbohydrate. Add 1-2 banana to provide carbohydrate for your post-workout meal will speed up your recovery and build muscle. Start build muscle NOW! 1 ... more
