I love having so many options!

Advantages: lovely taste, a lot of flavours, very low in calories
Disadvantages: aspartame sweetener

...Today I am revieweing the Options hot chocolate drink (even if the weather outside tells me to review ice cold drinks instead!). When we stock up on our favourite foods in England before returning home to Germany, we buy at least 30 sachets of Options, usually more! Enjoy! == I love having so many options! == _What are 'Options'?_ Options are little sachets of chocolate flavoured powder that you stir into a cup of hot water to create a lovely hot ...
...don't want to miss out. Options taste really good, come in exciting flavours and have very little calories, so they are simply perfect and we couldn't live without them anymore! _Packaging_ The powder comes in sachets measuring 12cm and they have a perforated corner where you can easily tear them open to pour the powder into your cup. The design of the sachets is especially gute - you get the Options logo at the top and then the flavour is wrapped ...

Chocolate heaven?

Advantages: Low calorie, low fat, quite authentic, convenient
Disadvantages: not the real thing

...chocolate and on it was Options Belgian Choc - a low calorie/low fat hot chocolate drink which is designed to give you that choccy boost without ruining your diet (obviously only if had as part of a calorie controlled diet!!). I remember at first I was a bit dubious as I knew this product existed but was quite anti low calorie and low fat foods. But bearing in mind I had just been told that everything I enjoyed eating was now off the menu, I was ...
...feeling of being normal. And let's face it before being told I couldn't eat it I would have turned to the chocolate when I felt like this and so this was no different. So off I went to buy some and have been drinking it (and some of the other varieties) ever since. I have just opened a new "jar" of the Begian Choc variety and upon peeling away the foil top of the plastic jar you can smell the sweeter than usual contents for a hot chocolate drink. ...

Disadvantages: Smell like dishwater.

This is due to the fact that the others have already been drunk. ***How to Make*** 1. Boil kettle. 2. Place powder in cup 3. Pour in boiling water 4. THE BEST TIME TO HAVE IT IS AT BEDTIME

Advantages: see op
Disadvantages: none

...My favourite happens to be Options as they are lower in calories than most other chocolate drinks, and taste delicious. They do have a choice of flavours but my favourite is mint chocolate. You can buy these in sachets of two, which is great if you are buying them to try for the first time, also handy to put in your handbag and take to work. It is an instant drink so you only have to boil the kettle and add water. I buy a plastic jar, which allows ...

Too few options....

Advantages: low calorie, fairly cheap drinks
Disadvantages: not all flavours available at once

Options Tempting Toffee flavour is a hot chocolate drink, which is less than 55 calories and has 1.2g fat. I enjoy hot chocolate drinks and am trying to lose weight so this seemed ideal, particularly as there are a variety of flavours. Originally, each sachet provided 2 drinks. However, the new sachets are no in 1 serving packets of 11g or in the case of Tempting Toffee 13.5g. To drink this you need to tear the dotted line in the top right and empty ...

Cadbury’s Highlights have double sachets for 37p (Tesco) and I have to purchase some of each, as they both have different flavours which are not all covered by the "opposition". Other Flavours Flavours often bought by the wolf are Tempting Toffee, Mint Madness, Wicked White Choc (Limited Edition), Caribbean Coconut (Limited Edition) and occasionally ...

Disadvantages: Not All Flavours May Appeal?

...one choice, which is an Options hot chocolate drink! These wonderful drinks are produced by Novartis Consumer Health, and will usually be found down the beverages (No! A Rainbow of flavoured chocolate drinks

Advantages: chocolatey, tasty, low fat, low calorie, reasonably priced.
Disadvantages: none.

Options are just hot chocolate drinks right? Well, no, these are not just any hot chocolate drinks, these are flavoured hot chocolates. If you’ve ever eaten a Neapolitan chocolate, (the ones that came in oblongs of different flavours, each individually wrapped in a box that smelt oh so good, were wrapped up in pretty paper and given away at Christmas) then imagine these in drink form, and without all the calories!!! Amazing but true! Options hot ...
...for the two, each contains 22g of powder to which you add hot water, and they come in a number of varieties: Chocolate – regular chocolate, no frills, no extra flavours added, tasty, creamy, and delicious. Orange – not as orangy as I’d like it to be, but nevertheless, very pleasant to drink, a not really sweet enough for me. I tried it once but haven’t bought more since. Tempting Toffee – WOW!!!! Definitely my favourite, this one is creamy and ...

Minty, creamy, chocolately indulgence

Advantages: low calorie, creamy, moreish
Disadvantages: none

This gorgeous and fantastic drink is a Mint Chocolate flavoured hot chocolate drink. ~~ My Memories of this product ~~ I remember the first time I had a drink of this, when I opened the tub, I was instantly greeted by a cloud of minty chocolatey powder. Upon making this drink, I added mainly hot water and a few drops of milk for some extra creaminess. When I took a sip of this I was in seventh heaven, as I just melted with the refreshing taste ...

The wrong option for me

Advantages: Low calorie... there must be some chocolate in there somewhere!
Disadvantages: the taste!

...I thought maybe a nice Options chocolate drink could replace my coffee (or rather my sugar) intake. The Options range comes in little individual sachets for about 25p each.. so me being me, I shoved one of each in my trolley :oP They are easy enough to make up. Just tear open the top of the sachet (it actually tears easily so you don't end up breaking finger nails or reaching for the scissors), empty into a normal sized mug. Pour on hot water. ...
...sugar (sort of defeats the 40 cals per sachet deal if you do). You just have to wait for it to cool down a bit and stir it again as some settles at the bottom and drink. Now this is where this op becomes the one that will take the longest to write for me, as I will be going through each flavour as I drink them.... and as I am not a big drinker of hot chocolate this could take months :oP The flavours ************** Turkish Delight - Now I love ...

Have a bit of Belgian Choc

Advantages: Tastes good
Disadvantages: A bit too sweet

It's really cold today. Damn weather! I can't wait until the summer arrives! I've had a heck of a job warming up today. I don't normally drink hot chocolate, but really felt like one today. So, whilst I was doing my weekly shopping in Tesco, I thought I'd buy a packet of hot chocolate, rather than a jar full. I decided upon buying 'Options Belgian Choc' hot chocolate drink (with sweetner). There's actually 2 sachets together, with a perferation ...

In the centre is a choclatey round swirl, with the named product on the front. The directions are simple. Just put a 1 sachet of the chocolate powder into a mug, add boiling water, and stir well. Let it cool slightly. You might wish to add a bit of sugar or milk. I did not add sugar, ...
