Advantages Advantages Smells warmly orange and lightly floral

Disadvantages Disadvantages None for me I liked it

Lush – Orange Blossom solid perfume LUSH PERFUMES We are very lucky in Derby because our lovely Lush shop in the Westfield centre has the entire range of Lush perfumes as well as the essential oil elements of some. Lush sells a fairly large range of perfumes now and every scent comes in three or four different forms. There is usually a solid perfume which tends to be the form which has the shortest staying power, the next is a small spray which is less concentrated than the 30ml black bottle which has the strongest concentration. Many of the scents also have a small 2ml sample bottle too which ... more

Advantages Advantages Lovely fragrance of summer cheaply

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slightly reminds me of polish with Orange oil

If any-one reading this review is a regular reader of the reviews I have written then you are probably starting to notice a bit of a trend, as all of my latest reviews have been about perfume. This is thanks to the sample set I recieved for my birthday. I am not a girly girl in no shape or form, and very rarely bother with myseft much, unless it,s a celebration party or a wedding. There are however the odd time when its great to get spoilt and have expensive gifts lavished on you, and one of these times, for me was 2 weeks ago on my 40th birthday. My lovely partner bought me a sample set of 7 ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells lovely, good value

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not terribly long-lasting

If you're a Lush fan at all, you'll know that Lush have recently introduced a new range of perfumes, Gorilla Perfumes, which even have their own website. The range includes the longstanding Lush perfumes Karma and Vanillary, a couple of perfumes which were originally part of the Retro range, reincarnations of perfumes from B Never Too Busy to be Beautiful (Lush's now-defunct sister cosmetics company) and some brand new scents, of which Orange Blossom is one. I received Orange Blossom in the form of a sample, when I ordered the special promotional set of 7 sample perfumes for £7 from the Lush ... more

2 Stars Another less than impressive Lush scent Review with images 30/12/2010
    User doesn't recommend the product

Advantages Advantages smells nice in the bottle, fragrance is OK when initially applied to skin

Disadvantages Disadvantages settles quickly to a strong woody scent, too strong overall for my tastes, bottle is awful

As mentioned in a previous review, I took advantage of an offer in the summer, where you could buy seven small sized bottles of Lush perfume for just £7. I believe this offer was to promote the launch of Lush's new range of perfumes, known as gorilla perfumes. One fragrance I really looked forward to using was Orange Blossom, simply because I liked the name, and the thought of an orange blossom perfume. I have a small glass vial of this fragrance, however the full sized version comes in a proper bottle. I must admit I am not impressed by the bottle at all. It's black with white writing - the ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, initially smells nice.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Developing scent is too manly, basic packaging.

I’m a big fan of Lush, but as money’s been a little tight recently I haven’t been buying too many new products, so instead I’ve been digging out a few of my old bits and pieces that I’ve just popped in a drawer and forgotten about. My sister in law is a huge Lush addict and is often sent a lot of freebies as she literally buys bags full of stuff. One product she received but wasn’t too keen on was a variety of Lush’s solid perfume in Orange Blossom, she then passed it onto me and my Mum to try, in all honesty we were pretty disappointed. The solid perfume would usually cost £5.50 for a 12g ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, far less chemicals than in most scents today, ethical company.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Being a solid perfume you have to be careful not to be heavy handed with this.

I’m not a big perfume person these days – mostly because I find that most perfumes smell more of chemicals than of nice smells. I’d guess this is because I don’t use many chemicals on me or around my home anymore which means that they stand out to my nose more now. Having said that, I do still like to have the odd nice scent, so I like to look for things that are a bit more natural to use. Lush tends to be one of the brands I turn to for this. The Lush Orange Blossom Perfume is a solid perfume. It comes in a small black tube that looks a bit like a stick deodorant and works in a similar way by ... more

    Advantages Advantages nice scent

    Disadvantages Disadvantages expensive

I buy things from Lush quite often but usually wait until i'm over at the shop to buy as I like to sniff the things before I get them. There is favourites that I get, but I like to try new products from the Shop as it is one of my favourite beauty shops. You can buy online and get delivered to you if you don't want to go to the shop. The good thing about this Perfume and other Perfumes that have just came out is that Lush are selling little Sample Vials of the scent. So you can try for a cheap price and if you don't like it then at least you haven't spent all that much on it. The 2ml sample ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells lovely and summery

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive for the bottle and smells similar to the Body Shop

Help brighten up those long dark days Orange blossom perfume by Lush is another solid perfume that I own which I was tempted to buy as a full sized perfume bottle until I discovered the Body shop's Neroli Jasmine which is very similar to this but just that little bit superior. The solid perfume I have comes in the usual 12g black stick which I have to say originally I missed the little metal tub but have come in the past few months to really grow fond of these sticks and how easy they are to use. Although the little metal tubs were cute he lids were difficult to remove and it was messy having ... more
