...reviews, I opted for the Oregon Scientific DShot III.
I could not have chosen better. It's a very handy pocket sizes camera. It's 1.3Mpixel resolution provides excellent images of 7"x5" and certainly for webwork, and internet auctions I don't need anymore than that.
It is very easy to use, and from time of receiving it to beginning to take photos with it was less than 10 minutes. It comes with a very clear, comprehensive manual, and the functions ... ...than £70, including a 32Mb Smart Media card, so was very good value for money. Without the card it is £58. It has a 2Mb in-built memory.
The quality of the output is really good, and compares favourably when looked at against other cameras of similar specification.
Pictures can be taken in 3 quality modes, fine, normal and basic. Top resolution is 1280 x 1024.
The camera does have a digital 2x zoom, but this cannot be used in the highest quality ...

This is a nifty little digital camera, it's easy to use, small and compact, I would even say it would be an ideal gift for an older child. The price is good value for money and it's size means it's small enough to just slip into your pocket for everyday use.
I love my little camera and with a lively 4 year old around, it's something I use all the time without having to worry about paying for getting films developed if I used a 35mm ordinary camera.
