...Published by the Oxford University Press, this small volume is just the right size to fit in the pocket of a white coat, or in a bag. It is covered in a plastic coating, which is fairly long lasting, although mine has started to split along the spine from being too well-thumbed. It also has some ribbons attached to the spine to bookmark your favourite pages.
The layout of the book is simple and clear. Following a short introduction and list of abbreviations, ... ...Junior Doctors, GPs, Medical Students, and may also have some relevance in the other health-care disciplines (nursing, physiotherapy and so on). Along with its sister volume, the Oxford Handbook of Clinical Specialties ("the little Blue book"), there are few situations that it does not cover. Get it! Now! ...
