Advantages: Nice big screen Disadvantages: badly designed, and made
I bought this laptop around 8 months ago as it was on offer in the store. I have had my fair share of laptops in the past, and know a little bit about computers but do not pretend to be an expert, however throughout my years as a student, and with a busy career in which I use my laptop daily; I have come to recognize key features which are important in a portable computer for regular use. This model has none of them and I am sad to say that this ... ...have owned. For the first month or so, it worked like a dream, the large screen is a wonderful advantage for watching movies, editing photographs or playing games, but the casing seems to collect dust easily for some reason?! - Even though I clean it regularly. I never move the laptop at all, it stays on the computer desk, yet after a few months the whole of the casing began to feel rather ropey and loose; sure enough the key board started malfunctioning ...

...Apple iBook G4 for a Packard Bell EasyNote R0205 (second hand), the EasyNote is 512MB Ram, 50Gb HDD, 15" Screen, Gigabite Wireless Card, Windows XP Professional installed.
I am generally quite happy with the laptop and use it nearly all the time, I have quit using my desktop which is very powerful compared to the easynote. But even with my constant use I have found a few problems.
- Cheaply created laptop
- Old Model for Today
- The laptop mouse ... ...everyday use, so something quite powerful but with all the flaws it does the trick.
My advice is that don't buy this laptop if you are a heavy downloader or play games or anything major of the sort, because the laptop won't be able to handle it. If you want to download and are very keen to buy this laptop, i'd try an external HDD or a large USB stick. I transferred all my movies onto a USB stick, and happily watched away.

My Packard Bell EasyNote Computer is my salvation, it's the place where I check my e-mail, check my accounts, download my music and I also take it into work with me and of course where I go to Ciao and read all the fab reviews that everyone writes and where I get to write my reviews. I love it!!
First of all a bit about the computer........
It comes with 512 MB Ram and Windows XP Home Edition. The Display screen is 15.4 inches. The Storage ... ...me down yet. The packard bell help page is also helpful if you need support although I haven't needed this yet. The screen which is 15.4 inches is plenty big enough and the keyboard and mouse are comfortable to use. I sometimes take it into work as I have done work on it in the evenings and has proved itself very reliable!! ...
