I have just come back from a few days away in Jersey. While I was there, I thought I'd take a look at the duty free fragrances at a perfumerie shop in St. Helier. Initially, the choice seemed truly mind-boggling and I didn't know where to start, but with the help of a kind shop assistant, I eventually found some fragrances I liked. One of these was Black XS Eau de Toilette by Paco Rabanne. It came in a box also containing a tube of Black XS shower gel and was very modestly priced at just £21.00 (UK price approx. £38.00). Everyone who knows me, knows how much I love smellies and perfume and I have been known to get very excited upon receiving such gifts. With this knowledge, my husband very kindly got me a perfume gift for Christmas the contents of which turned out to be this Paco Rabanne Black XS. Advantages Lasts well, not too expensive, pretty bottle, very different

Time to finally start reviewing the perfumes I got in my Vivabox at Christmas. Vivaboxes I believe are just around at Christmas, and you can find them in The Perfume Shop. They contain 10 small phials of perfume and a voucher for one full-sized bottle. It made a really nice gift! I've been meaning to write about these 10 perfumes since Christmas, but I always tend to find it rather difficult to describe scents. Paco Rabanne Black XS for Her....... This perfume has been around for a few years now and as soon as I run out of it I make sure I get another straight away if I haven't already got a spare one in the cupboard! It has got to be my all time favourite fragrance and hopefully one that won't just vanish from the shelves as so many seem to do. I like nothing more than spending a few hours getting ready for a night on the town, but no matter what the outfit or hairstyle, I'm just not complete without a good old squirt of perfume. Paco Rabanne Black XS Mens This is the EDT that I always by Himself for every Birthday or Christmas depending on how much he has got left. It is a fragrance that both Himself and I have et to tire of and considering he has been buying it ever since it was released a good few years back this is going well. I always find that Paco Rabanne fragrances always last really well on the skin and this is no different the smell seems to Linger on Himself very well throughout the day and this is another reason why we have continued to buy it. A guys perspective on buying his partner perfume What would you like for Christmas ? I asked my girlfriend, and got the usual reply. I have always had a love for nice perfumes in beautiful bottles since I always seem to keep them even after the perfume is long gone. My boyfriends mum had this perfume a year or two ago and I loved it but being a mum means all the things you want go out the window in favour of what your little angel wants! About the perfume I received the “Paco Rabanne Black XS Pour Elle Eau de Toilette Spray” perfume as a Christmas present. I actually received in a gift box set which also contained the matching 100ml body lotion for the Paco Rabanne spray. The box set consisted of a pink metallic tin and I have re-used the tin box as a keepsake box. The design of the bottle From the pictures, you can see that the bottle of the perfume is beautiful. The design of the bottle is in a lovely heart shape with a rose engraved on the front of the glass bottle. The colour of the bottle is dark pink and the name of the ... more
