Advantages: Price, clear screen,
Disadvantages: Tempremental sync sometimes
...clear battery indicator on the Palm for reference. The computer to palm cable is standard, but a "dock" for the Palm would have been helpful.
The screen is very responsive to the stylus and it is pretty easy to get around the Palm itself.
But I could overlook a few things, after all you can't always get everything you want, especially when it offered so much for less than other palms on the market and the price was £129 at Amazon.co.uk.

Advantages: Very easy to use
Disadvantages: can't think of one.
I have had my E2 for about a year and it is still going really well. Having had different types of memory electronic gadgets llike electronic diaries and such, this was exactly what I was waiting for.
The PDA feels good in your hand, it feels ergonomically right, it has substance like a quality product. This may sound a strange description, but sometimes it is good to feel something that feels well built and strong, not flimsy and plasticy.

Saves me hours of work.

Advantages: Value for money, email, microsoft word programme, bluetooth
Disadvantages: Occasionally freezes. Only comes with 30mb of memory

I use the palm on a daily basis for: my address book, my memos, as a notepad, for taking minutes at meeting straight into a word document, excel spread sheets and power point. I also use it for the web and email (see below)
I also have lots of photographs of the family, save to my memory card. I also have quite a few short videos.
There are so many useful programmes you can download as 'extra's' I have a theasaurus, dictionary and Agendus ...

Advantages: Flexible storage, sharp display
Disadvantages: Calculator does not funtion correctly, battery is not user replaceable, does not work with Easysync 4.2.1
Palmone E2 looks ok but has some serious faults that make it a questionable buy. The calculator, the most basic of functions has an error that means the percentage key does not work.
A simple calculation like 200 + 5% yields a result of 2.05 not the normal answer of 210. In this day and age even the cheapest of calculators can get this right. The battery is still not user replaceable, this kind of limitation is inexcusable. It fails to work with ...
