Oh dear, I am back in the girls world again..maybe it's a sign that I have been living with my girlfriend for too long but hey, it's the 21st century and I'm a modern man. I was first told to use this product when i had come back from Spain and my skin was really burnt in certain area's and nothing i had used had sorted it out. Palmers cocoa butter is easily found in high street stores such as Superdrug and Boots and prices range from £3.25 for 250ml, so it works out that this product is £1.65 per 100ml which is slightly more expensive than your average moisturiser but it is worth it. ...orange and brown (retro coloured) Palmers logo sprawled across the front of the bottle and a brown backed label with “Cocoa Butter Formula”. The bottle comes without a box so less rubbish to throw away. ~SMELL~ There is a distinctive smell to Palmer’s. The cream is a yellowy-creamy colour and smells rather sickly. I first bought Palmers Cocoa Butter as I was told that it was good for stretch marks and softening skin... as well as smelling yummy! The second part of this I have definitely found to be true, and while not a miracle worker on stretch marks, it definitely helps. ...and lower legs. As Palmers cocoa butter claims to ‘smooth and blend unattractive marks and scars’ I thought I would give it go. It also says that it is brilliant for stretch marks and is widely recommended during pregnancies, and after so if there are some mums to be out there worried about these marks that look like the map of England on their body, this is the stuff to buy. Dry skin is an absolute nightmare, no question about that. There's a lot of people around who suffer from this particular skin complaint, and I'm most certainly one of them.
