Advantages: Pleasant, good value. Disadvantages: Not as luxurious as the name would have you believe, impractical packaging.
...bubbles ever. Unfortunately the Palmolive cream is nothing like this and the bubbles are no different from those produced by any other shower gel.
My other disappointment was the smell. I have to admit to having opened the bottle in Tesco’s before making my purchase and having a furtive sniff to make sure the smell was to my liking, and it was. A rich, creamy scent, with a definite hint of honey hits you as soon as you sniff the bottle, and lingers ... ...you add water and create a lather, this creamy smell fades away into the background, to be joined by a very fresh, but non-descript smell, which once again is reminiscent of non-descript shower gels in general. There is certainly no strong, sugary honey smell to be detected. With other creamy body washes (thinking once again back to Olay), there is a really luxurious, creamy smell that lingers in the bathroom after showering and lingers on your skin ...

...this shower gel? It is Palmolive Naturals Milk and Honey and it must be sent from the gods as it is heavenly to use.
Palmolive Naturals Milk and Honey is not technically a shower gel. It is a shower cream as it is thick and moisturising and is most suitable for very dry skin. The milk extracts are supposed to replenish lost moisture from the skin. I buy this product as I tend to have dry sensitive skin and have little patches of extremely dry skin ... ...their very fruity Kiwi stuff. Palmolive products are available in most good chemists and supermarkets. I tend to buy mine in Body Care for the bargain price of 99 pence. They are a wee bit more expensive in places like Boots.
The first thing you notice when picking up the product is the bottle. It is oval with a flattened bottom. I like this design as it is really easy to grasp hold of in the shower. The top is a flip top one which again is easy ...

...knocked me senseless was this, Palmolive Naturals, shower crème with milk and honey. Well I guess you all managed to work that one out already, didn’t ya!!
The first thing that hits you, unless of course you too have nearly had your head caved in by a flying bottle of it, is the smell! Wow:o)

Unless they go under the guise of, Pareth Sulfate, Glycol Distearate, or Lauryl Polyglucose?? Nevertheless the aroma is overpowering, but in a gorgeous mouth watering way:o)
It lathers up beautifully too and rinses away as well, although I think the fact that the power showers at my gym are rather on the energetic side (depending on how fast the bloke on the treadmill is running at the time, generating the power, ...

...offers. I found that Palmolive Shower Gels were on a Buy One Get One Free offer so I decided to go for that as it worked out at good value and would make a nice change. On offer it worked out at just under £2 for two 250ml bottles of shower gel which suited me. I chose two different ones and today I’ll be writing about their Naturals with Milk and Honey variety, the other one I’ll cover some time soon!
My shopping arrived the next afternoon and ... ...I have to say that the bottle is attractive and unusual for a shower gel, unlike most it doesn’t have that hook-on-lid contraption which can sometimes prove awkward – just a curved flip-top which clips shut firmly to avoid leakage. The thick white plastic bottle is a sort of oval shape with the lid incorporated in a pale orange colour. It certainly looks much nicer than the ones I normally go for – but obviously looks aren’t everything! What’s the ...

...I am talking about Palmolive Shower and Cream with Milk and Honey.
I have been using this product now for at least a year. When I tried it for the first time I found it has so much wow factor that I haven't yet found anything to better it.
It comes in an oval shaped container, white with a mustard coloured lid.Its made of tough, strong plastic and I have given it the squeeze test and no matter how hard you squeeze, the lid stays firmly shut and ... ...gimmicks on the side of this one, infact there is not very much at all. The container is very plain and ordinary looking and I wonder whether, at first glance, people would assume that the contents of this bottle were just as plain. They would be very wrong.
The top is one of these flip top ones. The only thing that I can find wrong with this is that there is no handy hook to hang it up with in the shower, but seeing as I use it in the bath as well ...

...and while looking I spotted PALMOLIVE NATURALS, with MILK AND HONEY SHOWER GEL for EXTRA DRY SKIN. I thought I would give this a go, it was only 99p for a 250ml bottle, and thought if I didn't like it it wasn't too much of a waste of dosh. Who'd have thought that the stuff that just ends up being scum around your tub could be so important? Browsing the 'shower gels' shelf of the supermarket, you'll doubtlessly see a whole multitude of different labels, each of them with some strange name, some perverse caption like "Sensuously smooth sensations" and some pornographic image.* So what's all the fuss about?
