Advantages Advantages Very absorbent and great for babies on the go

    Disadvantages Disadvantages The price

I have tried various types of disposal nappies on my 6 month old son, but this was the first time that I had tried the Pampers Active fit, as my son is reaching an age where he is getting more mobile I thought that now was a good time to try them out. Packaging and Price My first impression of the packaging is that it is nice and bright, the combination of the green and purple is very eye catching on the shelf alongside other brands of nappies. The packaging also shows a picture of a very active baby, it makes them appear to be aimed at babies on the move right from the first time you see the ... more

Advantages Advantages Easier to pin on a wriggling baby

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive

Pampers active fit are one of the most expensive nappies on the market. Actual price per nappy does vary a lot according to the size you buy, where you buy them and how big the pack size is, so it's difficult to give a precise price, but for comparison purposes in my local Sainsburys this week they've got a 2 for £16 offer on economy packs of Active Fit. In size 4 (the one my son uses) you get 46 nappies in an economy pack so that's 0.19p a nappy, before the offer (the packs are normally £8.69 each) and 0.17p a nappy with the offer. With "normal" Pampers baby dry you get more nappies in a pack ... more

Now that Baby B is active we have had to change her nappy type to one which is better fitting around her legs whilst she manages to bum shuffle around the floor! We have always bought Pampers nappies and haven't really had any problems with them. The only problems we ever had was when Baby B was between sizes when she was a newborn and we had a few leakages as we moved from size 1 to size 2. We have tried using Asda's own as well as Huggies but never found any of them to be as effective as Pampers in terms of comfort and fit. Active fit nappies come in various sizes starting from size 3 which ... more

Advantages Advantages Dry, No Leaks, Usually on Offer

Disadvantages Disadvantages Wish all nappies were cheaper!

Being 2011 I think there is a very small portion of parents who use re-useable nappies but in my opinion the majority of parents opt for disposables...and if you don't, I don't understand you! Not that your wrong, just not my personal cup of tea. Pampers Active Fit Nappies are the only way I would recommend caring for your little one's rear end. My son is now approaching his first birthday and has worked his way through a hideous amount of nappies in his time I could probably have bought a sports car with the amount of money I've spent on them-either that or a nice Carribean holiday! Everyone ... more

Advantages Advantages Very comfortable and soft

Disadvantages Disadvantages a few pence more than other brands

I like most new mums will try several different brands of nappies before settling on a favourite which in my case was pampers active fit and in actual fact any pampers nappies. We started off using huggies new baby and sainsburys cheaper new baby nappies, both were satisfactory but pampers seem to be softer and more stretchier than other brands. After using the yellow packets of new baby pampers the choice of next stage nappies is vast all citing different benefits from super dry, simply dry, active fit etc my best advice is when a supermarket has one of there many promotions for example ... more

Advantages Advantages did not leak, can be good value when offers are on, good fit

Disadvantages Disadvantages can be expenisve if brought outside offer periods

My son nearly 3 is now only wearing nappies at night. I have tried every nappy out there own brand othe rlarger brands but have always returned to pampers active fit time and time again. The strentchyness of the tabs is perfect for any size baby. I can pull them tight or leave them loose and they still stay on and do the job. They are one of the most expensive brands however there has never been a time I have not brought pampers when there has not been an offer on in one of the major supermarkets. i then buy in bulk to keep me going. Morrison, Asda and Tesco been my main supermarkets. Compared ... more

Advantages Advantages super absorbent, each size last through a wide weight range

Disadvantages Disadvantages more expensive than baby dry

I had been using the pampers baby dry on my son since he was a few weeks old and thought they were great. i objected to moving onto the active fit as i really couldnt see the point and they are more expensive. I was however in the shop one day and they were on offer at £9.99 for a box so i thought i would give them a try and i can honestly say i never looked back, They are superb the absorpbtion is great and they have to be absoloutly full to capacity before they even think about leaking. also when you change your little one these nappies keep them extra dry so you dont get that clammy damp ... more

Advantages Advantages Stays dry and keeps my little girls skin soft and smooth

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

My six month old daughter uses Pampers active fit nappies and she sleeps all through the night without it leaking or giving her a rash. I am not saying it is the nappy that makes her sleep all night but it keeps her skin dry and soft so she doesn’t get disturbed in her sleep. Pampers active fit comes in regular sizes: 1, 2, 3, 4 and onwards. All the numbers represents different weight and length. My daughter weighs a little bit over 7 kilos and uses Pampers 3, which is for babies who weigh between 4 and 9 kilos. The nappy is a little bit big around the legs but doesn’t leak even after ten ... more

i think pampers are the best nappies on the market. i have 4 children aged between 2 and 12 and have used them for each child. never experienced sore bottoms, rashes or leaky nappies. i have occasionally used other quality brand nappies and can say that no other compares to pampers. they are expensive, but you pay for quality and if you shop around you can get bargains. the nappies are soft and strong. i travel a lot on long distances with my children and sometimes have not been able to change a nappy at the right time. even after lengthy wearing there are still no leaks or sore bottoms. they ... more

    Advantages Advantages stretchy tabs,good absorbtion

Disadvantages Disadvantages price (can be a little dear)

Pampers are the leading brand i think when it comes to nappies and the active fit range are a definite credit to them...true they are slightly pricier than other nappy brands but they are definitely worth it in my opinion. My son is a very active little boy and wriggles pretty much morning til night and certain other brands hadnt been able to contain the leaks (through the leg, waistband etc ) These do the job with ease !! Never have i had to put a new change of clothes on due to leakage !! He is comfy in them from what i can see as there are never any red marks on his legs or waist which to me ... more
