- both handsets can be in use at the same time, so two people are free to walk around the house while participating in the same phone call.
... ...handsets are used during a call you have to remember to press the hang-up button on both at the end of the call, or your line will still be connected.
- it can be difficult to hear quiet callers unless you press the phone very hard against your ear (I don't have a hearing problem and can hear callers clearly when using my old phone).
- there's no way to increase the volume that callers are speaking at - other than asking them to talk more loudly.
