Advantages Advantages Small, fast, efficient, grat focus and zoom

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None whatsoever

I have recently bought this camera at the beginning of September, it arrived 2 days before I did a hot air balloon flight so I had no time to practice with it at all, however the pictures I took have come out fantastic and the camera couldn't have been any more user friendly. I have since discovered other functions on the camera like the soft skin mode which gives people' complexions a smooth appearance, the scenic fundtion which takes pictures of landscapes and enhances the colours slightly. The zoom works fantastically as does the auto focus, it's the kind of camera that gives the impression ... more

Advantages Advantages great size, high quality image output, easy to use, indestructible, plenty of extra stuff

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none at all

As a sort-of camera expert I have to tell you - I am impressed with this device. And here's why: 1. The size The camera is only 9cm long 5cm high and 2cm thick. You could have found that information on any website but I can tell you the implications of that. The size is perfectly matched to fit comfortably in an 'average' human hand. Ergonomics at its best. It's small and lightweight enough to be carried around easily in a pocket and held in the hand, but not so small you have to get out a pair of microscopic tweezers to hold it in place. 2. The lens and the picture: This device has a 4x ... more

Advantages Advantages Clear Pictures, Liquid Crystal Display, three times zoom.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Small internal memory. No real disadvantages

I paid one hundred Pounds for this camera, which I considered to be a good bargain. Within two hours of charging the camera's battery the camera delivered good quality clear images. The Liquid Crystal Display is a bit small and also the Internal Memory is slightly limited. So therefore a additional add on is going to be needed by buying a one or two giga byte Memory Card, which costs about fifteen to twenty Pounds. The camera contains a playback System Built-In which allows users to view Picture shot's that have previously been captured, and easy navigation back to the pictures that were ... more

Advantages Advantages Face detection, great look, high quality photos.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Little memory, could have higher pixel count.

The Panasonic Lumix camera is a truly wonderful piece of hardware. The whole camera is a masterpiece. It has 7.2 megapixels inside of it working with a superb 3x optical zoom. The display on the camera is just as good. It is an LCD screen but does make the pictures look worse than they acctually do (if you look at pictures of yourself on this camera it truly does destroy your self esteme, but that just shows how detailed the pictures are). The camera is also very compact and comes with a nice wrist strap so if your one of those people who have a tendice to drop things, you wont drop this. The ... more

Advantages Advantages Size, great lens and simple to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slight delay when using flash and zoom could be more powerful

Off the bat, this is a great little camera. I've owned it now for a year and a half and it has travelled with me everywhere and has taken some wonderful pictures (yes that's right, the camera took them, not me!!!). Firstly, it is wonderfully compact and at a reasonable price. It's features are very simple and easy to use. It has the standard wheel to select the mode you want it in and simple navigation buttons on the back. Given it's compact size they have managed to give a generous portion of it to a large enough screen. This camera comes equip with a classic Leica lens that offers wonderful ... more
