Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28EB-K

...will start by describing the Panasonic DMC-FZ28. It looks in its appearance very similar to a DSLR albeit much smaller, it has the excellent hand grip on its right handside (just like an DSLR) and on top of this grip is the perfectly placed shutter release button. I have to say it was a dificult decision for me in buying a top of the range compact digital camera. My original idea was to replace my Nikon compact that i have had for 4 or 5 years . The Lumix FZ28 is an upgrade to the Lumix FZ18 and is almost identical on the surface. The LCD screen is now 2.7", compared with the 2.5" screen on the FZ18 and there is an extra switch on the back now to switch between Recording and Playback mode - which used to be handled via the mode-dial - a definite improvement in my opinion.
