I'm really behind the times when it comes to technology and have never had a digital camera before, so after looking on various websites I finally decided on this one. Whilst I cant compare it to anything else and think it's brilliant. I normally use DSLR's, but I wanted a compact camera for a touring holiday - didn't want to carry the weight this time. I used to have the TZ5 and i must say the TZ6 is a great improvement. There's a 12x, 25-300mm optical zoom lens, both wider and longer than the TZ5’s. Also the megapixels have increased from 9 to 10. Also the 720p HD video mode is recorded using the new AVCHD Lite format which almost doubles the recording time. This will come in very handy especially when going on holiday or days out.
