    Advantages Advantages Small, stylish, good feature, weights nothing

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Small buttons, alas discontinued

    So here I am , sitting in a plane/train, travelling where my boss feels I would actually be out of trouble and be productive, sometime the ride is short, most of the time, I am stuck there for hours – try the 7.55am BA8142 from London Gatwick to Luxembourg and tell me if it now departs on time, methinks not and I won’t even mention the 6.58am South West train from Bournemouth to London Waterloo !     Advantages Advantages It is slim and lightweight ,yet robust

    This portable CD player, has a crystal clear sound and lots of features, at a cost of £119, it is worth every penny. I use it on long train journeys, it is rechargable, and the battery lasts for ages before it needs charging again. It has an anti- skip function, so is especially ideal if you travel a lot. I especially like the remote control, the display is clear, and it even has a light, if you wish to use it at night.     I bought one of these shortly before Christmas 2002 at my local Dixon's store. Although i was put off at first by the price tag of £130, i slowly became aware that if you want quality, then you are generally better to pay out that little bit extra in order to get it. This particular model has every feature you could ask for, except a radio and an excellent 35 hour battery life. Another factor in it's favour is that has coped well with some of my slighty damaged CD's. I was also impressed with it's perfomance whilst i was out jogging.
