Many other reviews just tell the same story. If you want to impress yourself as well as your friends and family with images in your leaving-room, not just with specs and numbers on paper, in this size/price range, there is simply no competition. The TH-42PX81E is basically the same now with an HD tuner.

Advantages: Great picture and sound quality Disadvantages: Ease of menus
I purchased this television about 3 weeeks ago and its great, i also purchased a wall bracket and this hanging off the wall really tops the product off. The picture quality is unfaultable, with the new anti-reflective screen it just improves your television viewing. The price is very reasonable for a television on this size and quality. The sound quality is as good as expected. The worst thing about the telly is the number of menus but that shouldnt ... ...they is something u do regularly you will soon get used to it. All in all this is a 5 star product for its price, if you wanted to be even more fancy you could probably spend more money on an even more stylish design but this is great and exactly what i was looking for. ...

Advantages: great non-reflective screen, good picture and sound quality, great centre piece for a living room Disadvantages: can get very hot and overheat if left on for too long
i also own this same television. the picture and sound quality are brilliant and for the money you pay for this item, your not missing out.
if you are intending to buy this tv and hang it of the wall using a wall braket make sure you have a concrete wall to hang it of as a wooden wall cannot cope with the weight. The anti-reflective screen is great because now you dont have to go around shuting all the curtains just to watch some tv. Make sure not ...
