having particularly fine and awkward hair, i find it difficult to buy hairspray which doesn't wiegh my hair down and make it look limp and greasy. i must have around ten different brands of hairspray in a corner in my bathroom, but pantene pro-v is at the top of the pile! i don't apply hairspray directly to my hair-i never will because it gives me dandruff, but i do spray a generous amount on my hairbrush to comb it through and clean my brush regularly. pantene pro-v combats strays and static hairs but it doesn't leave my hair too stiff or sticky. best of all it doesn't make my hair look like ... more

I bought pro vitamin Maximum Hold hairspray by Pantene pro v for the first time this weekend. I have long fine flyaway hair that has a middle parting that is really impossible to get rid off and hair that refuses to hold a curl. I washed and dried my hair as normal and heated up my spirial curling tongs as I wanted a hint of a curl that night, I sprayed my hair with the hairspray and curled when i had finished I sprayed again. not only did the CURLS last all night but lasted the next 4 days they would have lasted longer but I washed it.
