Paperchase: Imaginative, Quirky & Unusual

AdvantagesQuirky and unusual cards and gift ideas. Fantastic shop presentation.

DisadvantagesSometimes quite pricey.

"...quirky stationery and cards, then Paperchase is your dream come true. It's like a toy-shop for adults: you will want to reach out and touch everything, and more worryingly buy everything. I hope you enjoy hearing about my favourite shop. ~ ~ ~ About the Company ~ ~ ~ Paperchase has been trading for around 30 years and there are currently 88 shops around the UK. Paperchase concessions stores can also be found in several Borders Books & Music ..." Read review

Paperchase, for all your stationary needs!

AdvantagesLovely products as wonderful gifts or a treat for yourself

DisadvantagesA tad expensive

"...than attractive stuff. I first discovered Paperchase whilst on a school trip to London, and walking through Covent Garden I spied this fantastic looking little shop, begging my friends to go in with me. Once inside, I felt I had died and gone to heaven. They had walls lined with greetings cards, wrapping paper and photo albums. Stacks of notebooks greeted me at the door, each with cute patterns and symbols on, luring me to spend all my hard-earned ..." Read review

Finally, a good, quality card & gift shop! Review with images

AdvantagesQuality, Unique, different selection of items.

DisadvantagesCan be pricey/not many shops.

"Paperchase are a large stationery store which sell a wide range of different things. Their shops are noticeably different as they are bright and colour-full, well lit and are easily shoppable. This review is based on the Guildford store! ***WHAT DO THEY SELL?*** Paperchase sell a wide range of items including greeting cards, art papers and materials, stationery, gift packaging, gifts and novelty items. They do sell some strange bits including ..." Read review

PAPERCHASE. FOR FOR QUALITY STATIONERY

Advantagesyou can get some quirky gifts, good selection of paper

Disadvantagesnot easy to find

"...concourse when I saw the Paperchase sign. I had thought that this chain of shops had died a death years ago (I don't get out much...not)-Paperchase used to be THE shop for teenagers in Manchester, to buy posters for your wall, and cards and paper in multi colours..it was a great place to get pressies for your friends as well as a great place to meet them. I remember buying a little jumping Woodstock (the little yellow bird from Peanuts) from there..you ..." Read review

Paperchase the land of oringinality

AdvantagesOriginal. Funky. Quirky.

DisadvantagesCan cost a lot.

"Paperchase for me is like a grotto of colourful, beautiful and unusual items. I love all things original, quirky and a bit neon and bright and this place seems to tick all my boxes for stationary and house needs. It's weird as I feel like a kid in a sweet shop when I'm in here and I get excited even at postcards, it's like they put a spell on you as you walk through the door. Paperchase is a stationary store which has its own chain of just under 100 ..." Read review

Chase the paper when it blows.

AdvantagesSee text.

DisadvantagesSee text.

"I would just like to write a review on Paperchase, which is a national stationary chain which has only just within the past six weeks or so opened up a concession in one of our local Waterstones branches in Plymouth. By concession, I mean that it is a unit within an already established shop - similar I guess to those you see in Sainsbury's and suchlike behind the tills. They rent a small area within a shop, and sometimes they provide their own staff ..." Read review

The Chasing of Paper....

AdvantagesIt's very very well stocked, very bright and cheery, very colourful! :)

DisadvantagesA little too pricey!

"...:) Now from what I gather, Paperchase is stationary shop that specialises in nothing, and sells everything! I've only ever been to the one in Manchester so I can only base my opinions upon what I have seen from this particular outlet. Okay, where to start.... On the outside, Paperchase is a very well decorated and very interesting. It usually has themed window displays, using bits and pieces of stationary to create novel ideas and messages. ..." Paperchase Review with images

Advantageslarge selection of products, lots of stores, stylish

Disadvantagesnot all staff are friendly

"I worked at a Paperchase concession as my Saturday job for 15 months. (I'm a college student) Paperchase is easily identified by the purple swirly logo. Paperchase is an upmarket store selling fashion stationery and gifts. It's been trading for over 30 years and there are 63 stores including one in Singapore and are expanding more in 2004. There are different types of stores-individual stores, concessions in Borders Books and Music, selected House ..." Read review

Paperchase - my favourite store!

Advantageswonderful quirky products

Disadvantagesa bit pricey

"Paperchase is one of my favourite shops - at the risk of sounding incredibly guilty- I LOVE STATIONARY! By this I dont mean biros and boring pads of lined paper, but the pretty and quirky things that Paperchase sell. For anyone who has never heard of this shop or has never been in one before, Paperchase is one of the leading stores in quirky and design lead stationary. This is not all they sell however, they also sell cards, gift wrap, gift bags, ..." Read review

You'll have to chase me away from this Paper place.

AdvantagesWide range of products, reasonably priced, good customer service

Disadvantagescan be squashed in the stores

"At first I believed that Paperchase was just a shop with overpriced (but funky) stationery. After looking around I reaaly have changed my mind. You can find Paperchase products in their high-street stores, in House of Fraser or online at www.amazon.co.uk. I have never ordered them off the internet but as they are sold directly through amazon then I assume they are genuine. Paperchase stores are always laid out well although they have so many ..." Paper fun

AdvantagesOpen late, sells what you want, fun

DisadvantagesAlways come out with a coloured pen

"...Grey and horrible. Paperchase is light and airy and the complete opposite of these memories. If i was going to buy a card for a birthday or any occasion I usually think of Paperchase. They have a wide selection of designs at a reasonable price. It is worth going in when the sale is on though and stocking up, about a year ago I got 10 cards for £1. Paperchase is so much more than just cards. They have a great 'stocking fillers' kinda section ..." Read review

Tottenham Court Road store is amazing

AdvantagesYou can always find something to buy

DisadvantagesCan't get there on a regular basis

"Paperchase outlet on Tottenham Court Road is probably the biggest stationery store in London. They sell a vast collection of post cards, stationery, and small gifts on the ground floor; slightly more expensive items like pens, keyrings, and work bags as well as home accessories on the second floor; and paper on the second floor (I think--I am not an artist, so the second floor is a bit too specialized for me). Paparchse is strong in colourful ..." Read review

Love Paperchase, out shines it's competiters

Advantagesloads

Disadvantagesnone

"This year for back to school I went to Paperchase, instead of WHSmith. A soon as I walked in I feel in Love with the Designs, the had a big choices of things to choose from to, I liked the school bags to, I think if the but their bags in the windown displays instead of in the corner they would get lots of buisness from teen girls who love bags! Also I like the offers they had on, some were amazing. Iiked they gift bags and wrapping paper and gift ..." Read review
