but in practise? Hmmm. I think it all went wrong when they removed the parcel bit from the rest of the Post Office. At least then the organisation you gave your object and cash to was going to be the one you needed to complain to if/when things went wrong. OK, the theory then. I have had a few parcels go astray when I have parcels are supposed to be sent to me but have never arrived. How odd and bizarre I think every time it happens. But, it happens. Last week I had some mew text books parcelled to me, and Parcel Force were going to deliver it for me. When packaged the parcel weighed 25KG and Parcelforce price for delivery within 48hours was £17.80 and this included insurance against loss. The best was yet to come, within half an hour of my phone call saying it was ready it was collected from my house, I didn't have to take it to a depot, and sure enough less than 48 hours later I had confirmation of delivery. ...
