Advantages: TASTES FANTASTIC WITH LEMONADE! Disadvantages: ELUSIVE IN THE UK!
...out… ready to find more Passoa in the pubs and clubs of Cardiff!
HOW TO DRINK IT
**********************
This may sound a little obvious. As you can imagine, you raise the glass to your lips and try not to spill it. Remembering to swallow before trying to speak is always a good idea too. Oh, and after a few glasses of this stuff don't let anyone ask you what's on the bottom of your glass! Doh! Anyway, where was I? Oh yes, Passoa and lemonade. ...

Advantages: Tastes great!! Disadvantages: none unless you drink too much
My friend introduced me to Passoa quite a while ago. I think she found it whilst on holiday somewhere nice. We had it in a pub with orange juice and plenty of ice, I'm a sucker for things weird and wonderful and the bottle was defiantly weird, I kept it in mind as I shop for the wine bar I work for in bookers the cash and carry. I got bought a litre bottle for my birthday from one of my friends, she got this in France I think, she must have heard ...

Advantages: light, fruity, refreshing Disadvantages: not going to get you drunk in a hurry?
...but I'll carry on now. Passoa is usually seen in Passionfruit flavour, although there are two others which I have never come across.
The bottle is quite striking as how often do you see a totally black bottle which I presume is plastic coated glass as the area under the screw lid is clear glass. The label therefore doesnt appear to be a label at all, on it is a trio of red and orange palm trees, with Passoa in larger yellow type, and The Passion ...

Advantages: lovely flavour, great for mixing Disadvantages: the bottle?
What can I say? Passoa is my all time favourite alcoholic beverage – perhaps in part due to the fact that it is really difficult to find it in places – although increasingly you can find it in bars which claim a speciality in cocktails.

Advantages: the tropical taste Disadvantages: Not widely available

The name Passoa derives from a typical Latin Cocktail which gives you a hint about the taste. Made from passion fruits it has a distinctly tropical taste and smell. They describe it on the bottle as refreshing and exotic and this is enchanced further ...
