Advantages Advantages Environmental friendly, good values, products not tested on animals

Disadvantages Disadvantages Results not satisfactory, not a good outcome

At one of my trips at the saloon, I was recommended some products from Paul Mitchell for my daughter, who has a frizzy and curly hair which seems to have gone in a very bad shape over the last year. I have to admit that up until this point I have never heard of this brand, so I have decided to give it a try and see if it will help getting my little daughter’s hair back in shape. Since I normally do not buy products I don’t know I have looked up on the internet to see what information I could find about Paul Mitchell products, even if it was a bit late by this point. Who is Paul Mitchell? Paul ... more

Advantages Advantages Products smell absolutely divine and are great for your hair

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be expensive so save for a treat

I think we all have certain products or ranges of products that we seem to rate very highly. Some of mine include - Heinz, Cadburys, Loreal, Dior, and Lancome. Don't get me wrong I also love own brand products and am in no way a label snob. Basically if I like something I buy it no matter what the label but there are certain things I must admit I do prefer to others. For those that know me you will already be aware I adore my health & beauty items and am always trying out new stuff. I must've tried hundreds or haircare products over the years but one brand I always trust and seem to like is ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells lovely, natural ingredients

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit expensive

I just had to write about this shampoo because it smells heavenly and leaves your hair full of life, even if it does have a daft name. PACKAGING This shampoo comes in a sleek, plain white bottle with simple black lettering 'Paul Mitchell'. It is about 7 inches tall and contains 250ml of shampoo. The writing on the bottle explains that this is a body-building cleanser, a claim that is no lie. The back of the bottle explains what Awapuhi shampoo is: 'For all hair types. Suitable for daily use. For body and shine. Replenished moisture. Excellent body wash. This ultra rich formula contains the ... more

Advantages Advantages Controls frizz and leaves your hair feeling silky and smooth

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not cheap to buy

I use Trevor Sorbie shampoo and conditioner, which is great but since going to a salon I have started to purchase products from Paul Mitchell, I’m sure all these products are great and you’ll know why I say this in a sec. Because for the first time in months of me trying different products such as Frizz ease to reduce frizzy ness I have actually found one that works it’s called “Foaming Pommade” it costs £4.95 for a 50ml bottle, I know what your thinking expensive but it really does work so I guess you get what you pay for in this case so for some things it does ... more

Okay, if you are like me and have thin, fly away hair and you wish you could find some way to make it appear thicker and behave itself, then please read on… Last time I went to get my hair cut the hair dresser asked if I would be interested in trying out a volumizing spray on my hair, and because I have the problems out lined above, I thought why not, can’t hurt! Now I have “big” hair! Well, not quite, but it certainly feels like there is more there and it holds the style so much better with out going all limp and just hanging there, which is a definite plus point as ... more

Advantages Advantages vast improvement in hair condition

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I love my hairdresser John. I first went to him about 8 years ago. My hair was in terrible condition through perming, highlighting, etc. My hair was greasy at the roots and very dry at the ends which was also split. He recommended that I use Moisture Mist every time I washed my hair. I was a bit dubious because this Moisture Mist stuff was mainly water!! But after every shampoo - before blow drying my hair I would spray this over my hair. (It is important to cover clothes before spraying this as it can stain delicate items) After about 3 weeks the difference was amazing. My hair shone like ... more

Advantages Advantages Quick, no mess styling

Disadvantages Disadvantages None that I can think of

I bought mine off the cuff when I happened to pass by the Hairdresser and all those sleek bottles in the window crying out Buy Me! It cost me £5.99 for a 250ml bottle. I am an old timer when it comes to Paul Mitchell, I have been using the products for years since they were introduced to me by my hairdresser. I just love this product as I have short spiky hair and have tried many different products. I dislike using wax as it is messy, gel is ok if you can find a good one but it seems to vanish really quickly as you wash off quite alot after styling and again can be a little messy. I can get ... more

Advantages Advantages Have some fantastic products

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some are a little pricey

I have to say I am a fan of paul mitchell My experience started about 5 years ago when i tried some of my mums tea tree shampoo and conditioner, it made my scalp all tingly and left my hair feeling so clean. From that day I became a fan!!! Now I tend to stick to a smaller number of their products, after trying out many over the years. My hair is naturally curly, frizzy and unruly. Therefore takes a lot of work to get it straight and smooth!!! Best products for hair like mine: *Super skinny shampoo and conditioner This is new to the paul mitchell range. It is aimed at hair like mine, if you ... more

Advantages Advantages smells lovely in your hair. good value

Disadvantages Disadvantages you might find it pricey

I brought my first bottle of Paul Mitchell, Tea Tree Special Shampoo about 2 years ago after a visit to the hair dressers and have used it ever since on my hair. On average I use this product once a week. The hairdresser used this on my hair because my scalp was a bit dry due to my pregnancy. THE PACKAGEING: The bottle style is bland, not eye catching at all. It’s just a standard bottle with a push down lid. The colour of the bottle is dark green with a white circle near the top with a picture of a tree and Tea Tree Special Shampoo Invigorating cleanser written underneath. Then it tells you it ... more

Advantages Advantages they are easy to use and produce great results!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages expensive

Using these products I have totally tamed my very unruly hair!!! They are really great products. My hair is super shiny, feels silky and is really manageable as a result!! They do not leave your hair smelling strange as some other products do. Easy to use and the results are instant. With these products less really is more. Using to much of a product can leave a horrid sticky residue in your hair. Use a tiny amount of product to begin with - you can always add more later. Also the less you use the less often you have to replace the products. They are worth buying, look out for special offers ... more
