Advantages: Cheap, rock solid, loverly finishes, great hardware Disadvantages: need car to move around, neighbours! not to much of an image boost
...a must do 'cos the pearl ones suck) with either remo or evans. I use a pinstripe on the 12 and a powerstroke 4 on the floor tom and the sound beautiful! On the bass i have, i think, a Genera1 with muffler ring and a double flam slam pad
