...to try a pack of Pedigree in the pouch form; this was an instant hit & was gobbled up straightaway, result! I then bought a few cans of the meaty loaf variety & a couple of tins in jelly. The variety in jelly was more of a hit, so I bought my beloved dog a 24 can pack from Makro.
I will write my review on Dexter's favourite variety, which is Pedigree with lamb in jelly, which is the can that goes first!

...been ever so keen on Pedigree Puppy formula mixed with Pedigree Complete mixer, so we naturally assumed that the jump to Pedigree Dog Food would be no problem.
You can buy these tins separately for around 49p per can, but as usual there are deals to be had by buying in multi-pack. 6 cans for £2.69. They come in a variety of flavours; the one we chose for Tasha on her first venture was the Chicken variety.

...She had been weaned onto Pedigree Chum Puppy food, so we continued to buy this for her, as it was what she was used to. We didn't want to upset her delicate puppy tummy by changing it to something else.
We also have an old Jack Russell X Chihuahua called Katy. We buy her various types of food, as she gets bored after a while. She's on Winalot at the moment. ...time) I feed him with Pedigree Chum dry mix. That is his main meal. He does get the opportunity later on to chew on a meaty bone or a pigs ear. But feeding your dog depends on his/her age.
Pedigree comes in lots of flavours such as Chiken and rice/ Original beef/ Lamb and rice/ beef and veg and the list goes on. They also do meals for puppies/adults and seniors which are specially designed for the age of the dog.
Jamie prefers original beef.

Advantages: My dog likes it Disadvantages: Three tins in a pack
I have one 'fussy' dog and the older Scamp gets the fussier she has becomes. I now find it hard to buy Scamp food that she will eat. At 13 she has probably become bored with most commercial dog foods, but at present Scamp, a pure breed mutt, enjoys Chum's Puppy Food range. Well, I cannot cook her favourite a roast chicken dinner for her ever day!

This range of puppy food comes in three flavours; Original, Chicken and Rice and Lamb and Rice. It is great to buy food without Rabbit, as it causes her to become hyperactive. The packaging is the same as normal Chum and costs around the same price per tin. (Three tins pack for 94p ...

Advantages: Nutritious, keeps my dogs coat looking shiny and healthy Disadvantages: stinks and can be messy
...old we have given her Pedigree Chum. It started off as Pedigree Chum Puppy food and we moved on eventually to the adult version, which is what I will review now.
I always buy the variety in gravy for Chloe. This has got nothing to do with what she likes unfortunately. It has everything to do with the fact that I find it a lot easier to get out of the tin, and break up in her bowl. I have to do this fairly quickly as with a cat and a dog, meal time ... ...have a bowl in front of them. Even then, one is outside and one is inside! Anyway in the words of Mike Reid - I digress!!
I buy these tins of dog food in packs of 6, although Sainsbury's have just started to sell the gravy variety in packs of 12. There is not a massive saving in buying the bigger pack but it is much easier to lug it indoors in bigger packs, so I have actually started to buy this one. However Sainsbury's also have the packs of 6 ...

Advantages: Convenient tinned food Disadvantages: Dogs find it unsatisfying, may cause digestive upsets
...few occasions I've ever offered Pedigree Chum to them. Half an hour after eating it they're starving again so it obviously didn't satisfy their hunger. The puppy formula is eaten with gusto, but puppies will eat almost anything - both pup and owner will suffer the consequences if Chum is devoured.

This is one of many puppy foods that my fussy puppy has tried. It comes in a 3 pack at £1.50 and is quite good value for money. There are 3 different flavours - chicken and rice, lamb and original. After feeding my dog the food for around 4-5 months now, i have noticed how healthy he looks, his coat looks wonderful too! The food is not quite as meaty as some ...

Quick review of Pedigree Chum
As you may know, all "Pedigree" products are manufactured by "Mars" confectionary corporation. Despite fluffy comments on their website indicating their concern for the welfare of dogs, it has now been revealed that they finance and direct a totally unnecessary testing program in which animals are subjected to agonising suffering in grisly experiments.
More details of Mars' activities in these areas are readily available on the web from such welfare organisations as PETA.
Regardless of the "quality" of this product, all purchasers are funding these activities. ...

...I had not fed them pedigree chum for eight years.
Admittedly they do prefer tinned food, but if you have a puppy, and can get them onto it early, I would do so.
The cost of canned pedigree chum always seemed so much cheaper than dried foods, but now we buy the dried foods, with the special offers you can get in shops like petsmart, it is no dearer than the chum.
I would also like to say that it is better for the environment now, as a biodegradible ...

Advantages: Tasty Disadvantages: Too rich for some breeds
...years buying her Jack Russell Pedigree Chum, only the best for her dog was the theory. The dog ate every last bit and obviously enjoyed it but when she was 4 she started having bowel trouble. We took her to the vet, who had to extract the problem from sacks in her back passage which was not painful but not nice for the dog. It appears that Chum is designed for pure breeds like the red setters and spaniels that you see on the adverts. It is too rich ...
