Created by Pedigree, these are the best thing I have found that keep your doggy's nashers clean and healthy, and also helps with the doggy breath somewhat too. The Stix themselves are a chewy treat which cleans your dogs teeth as they chew, I think inside they have a rough texture, but not too rough to cause any damage. The chews have a cross pattern which runs the length of the chew, ensuring that your dog chews it to the best of its abilities. ...

I bought these for my dog after seeing the marketting which claimed that they were excellent for dog's teeth and therefore help with pongy breath. My dog loves them. Unfortunately, she chomps them straight down, they hardly touch the sides and there is definately no benefit to her teeth. As a consequence, they also do nothing for her breath. I suppose some people might choose to use them as training treats anyway, but they also have quite a strong ...

Despite fluffy comments on their website indicating their concern for the welfare of dogs, it has now been revealed that they finance and direct a totally unnecessary testing program in which animals are subjected to agonising suffering in grisly experiments. More details of Mars' activities in these areas are readily available on the web from such welfare organisations as PETA.
