The Pentax K110D is a good introduction to the world of digital SLRs. If you already own a 35mm Pentax camera you can use your old lenses and makes it an even better choice. I purchased a kit with a very versatile Tamron 28-200mm lens for around $550 / £225 a year ago. In the time I have owned it the camera has produced very good results. Most of the time I just throw it in my bag without any extra case and the body hasn't even gathered scratches. ... ...would take a drop without any problems. I have had a problem with the auto-focus/ manual focus switch and the camera is being fixed under the 1 year warranty. I have been quite impressed with the service when I called the UK warranty center. The camera supports SDHC (SD Cards with capacity above 2gb).
