    Advantages Advantages Simple to learn and use, Excellent Quality Images, Manual control settings

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Perhaps a little too light, not compatible with some lenses, not for professionals!

    As you will see from my other ops, I have been into SLR photography for many years. However, my girlfriend has not, and has always been a point & shoot snapper! Last year, she took a baloon ride over Hertfordshire, and realising that her Konica APS camera would not be up to the job, she borrowed my Pentax MZ-5N.     Advantages Advantages Reliable, good value and well built

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Slow focus

    I have been using this camera for a few years now and have had no problems with it. The film loading mechanism is consistent and fast. Wind speeds are good. Changing the lens is simple as with most modern SLR's. The focusing speed is not the greatest but this is to be expected when it’s an entry level model and I tend to photograph super bikes. Changing the aperture and shutter speed can be more time consuming than other models.
