Advantages Advantages Lightweight, easy to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages Awkward location of some buttons

Pentax MZ-60 This was my first SLR kit bought in January 2003, which came with a 35-80mm f4/5.6 FA lens. The camera is I belive quite good value for money and an ideal starter SLR, with plenty of features. Exposure ranges from 1/2000 second to 30 seconds, although in bulb-mode the exposure can be set for up to 32 minutes. Advantages Advantages easy to use, light, great for holiday photos.

Disadvantages Disadvantages does not have all options for experienced photographer

It has some great options like being able to switch to different options depending on whether you are taking a night, action, nature, scenery etc photo. It has zoom feature, both in and out and a flash option and this will automatically pop up when it gets too dark. It also has auto focus - you just half press down on the button to focus, and you can choose something in teh distance or up close to focus on. I ... more
