Advantages Advantages Excellent quality of build, Easy to use modes, Lots of potential accessorising/lenses

Disadvantages Disadvantages Autofocus, heavy weight camera

The MZ-7 has any different picture modes, such as: Green Operation, Close-up, Action, Portrait and Landscape which may be selected manually depending on the picture being taken. Advantages Advantages Both manual and automatic focus, lots of features

Disadvantages Disadvantages Very easy to block the built-in flash

2 Stars Quick review of Pentax MZ 7 by roscoe47 21/07/2008
A good camera, until the shutter decides to not function! My camera has never been dropped, knocked about, or abused! It has only had careful use, and I doubt that it has even had 40 rolls of film through it. It is now wothless as Pentax want more money to repair this camera than it is actually worth, so it is a "write off"! Hope I have better luck when I purchase a K20D!!!!!!!!!!!
