I bought this one beacuse of its small size, which makes it handy to bring along during trips...
Unfortunately image quality is fine only when the apparatus is perfectly still... i.e. virtually never in normal use!
Really disappointed! ...

Advantages: Large picture screen, lightweight, pocket size. Disadvantages: No viewfinder.
...used to carrying my little Pentax Optio S so when that broke (worn out I think!) it was the natural choice to buy the same camera again, but with more megapixels! That's how I ended up chosing the Pentax Optio S6.
It is a fantastic little camera - it's biggest advantage has got to be it's size - it fits in any bag and most pockets I would think ( no excuses for not having the camera on you at any time!).
It has a LCD screen which takes up three ... ...easy to see the picture you are taking. However, the negative side of the camera is its lack of viewfinder so taking pictures on a sunny day can be a bit hit and miss. It's very simple to use - easy to alter flash settings/ red eye reduction/ image size and quality etc. It is also simple to set the timer and to add a pretty frame to your picture.
It will store (using a 128MB SD memory card) between 53 and 1011 photos, depending on quality you want. ...

This was my second digital camera I purchased and I can only advise a person looking for a compact, good value product to buy this.
There are many different features held within this tiny camera, it has many different modes, brightness control, exposure etc, all that you would expect from a digital camera, but the best features I believe it encompasses are that it is a small,
and with features such as auto-panning it can be very good for the novice.
... ...point and shoot-type pictures, e.g. those taken on holiday, however if you are looking for a professional camera, it may be wise to seek advice from a professional photographer, and to increase your budget by about twice as much again.
I would only advise you purchase this if you are looking for a good quality camera and know how to operate the different modes and know how to achieve the correct exposure etc. ...
