Advantages: A horrwing yet compelling read, almost as good as the first book in the series Disadvantages: Some parts of the story didn't flow well, can be upsetting
This book is the second in the series of 5 books which begins with Flowers in the Attic by Virginia Andrews. It follows on directly where the previous book left off, and it can't be read without having read the first book. Advantages: You won't be able to stop reading, gripping, great plot, beautiful imagery. Disadvantages: You won't be able to stop reading, could find Cathy's decisions a bit frustrating at times.
Petals in the wind follows on from the gripping Flowers in the Attic by Virginia Andrews. It had a lot to live up to…but I'm happy to say it did. It was a thrilling read, and I couldn't put it down. Andrews takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotional turmoil - love, hate, rage, regret and sadness. The characters are developed wonderfully and you'll relish in following their journey - both physical and emotional.
