Advantages: Good value, folds up incredibly small, lightweight, suitable from birth Disadvantages: Not very sturdy, prone to tipping if overloaded. Basket is so small it's useless!
...a similar look to the Petite Star Zia, but it is just too upright for my liking. Babies I've seen in them just don't look too comfortable when they're fast asleep with their heads lolling about! Style-wise, we didn't want a traditional style pushchair with a brake across the back, as my husband is very tall and used to tread on our old one by accident - setting the brake off in mid-walk and catapulting the baby into the road! (Okay, I'm exaggerating ... ...lady simply said "Oh, the Petite Star Zia will be just right." She showed us one in stock (only the pink one, but our baby boy wasn't old enough to object!) As promised, it folded up really compact. It has an ingenious folding system whereby it actually folds into itself so it is surprisingly small when folded. It is also incredibly light and it is actually possible to fold up whilst holding the baby without being a magician or double-jointed! (My ...

Advantages: Lightweight and compact - ideal for travel. Disadvantages: Basket underneath is far too small, no 'hanging' space from handles.
We bought our _Zia Stroller_ for travel purposes only. We have an iCandy Apple travel system which, although excellent, was too large to take on holiday. We also didn't want it to get damaged via baggage handling.
We looked at several other pushchairs - including the Quinny Zapp. However, this and others were not suitable as they did not lie flat...at the time of our holiday to Lanzarote, our daughter was 13 weeks old and unable to sit upright. ... ...to aid respiration and ensure that their spine's are not contorted. (It is only reccommended that they stay in a car seat for no more than 2 hours at a time due to the pressure it puts on their lungs and spine.)
So, after much deliberation, and 'test drives' up and down the store, we opted for the _Petite Star Zia Stroller_. Our main considerations were:
# It's ability to lie completely flat
# It's lightweight frame and compact folding (small ...

Advantages: small, light, stylish, fully recline, suitable for newborns Disadvantages: the shopping basket is tiny
I bought Petite star zia stroller (cranberry) last month. Can't believe how fab this pushchair is. 1. The reason I bought this product: -- I've used Mamas and papas travel system for over two months but I dont like the fact that it's too heavy, thanks to all of those extra features. -- As a first time mother who lives in city where I must carry the stroller up and down stairs or onto public transportation, I am looking for a stroller lighter in weight ... ...I bought it from mothercare at about £130, plus a footmuff from ebay at £40. ----------------------------------------------- 3. Age group It is suitable from birth to 3years. I liked the idea that it lays flat unike the Quinny Zap. My 3 month old seems very comfy in it. ------------------------------------------------- 4. Weight Weighing in at an astonishing 6.3kg Zia is one of the lightest, most stylish from-birth strollers on the market. ------------------------------------------------ ...

Advantages: VERY compact and lightweight Disadvantages: Cheap flimsy frame, baby has no upper body support, crap shopping bag
The Petite Star Zia is a lightweight thre-wheeled pushchair that looks great in the shop, fab around town and disappears in the boot of the car.
But that's where the fun ends. Getting it up stairs is difficult (when you push down on the back of the pushchair to flick the front end up, the frame flexes and you have to push down harder) and getting it down is dangerous (when you go over the edge of that kerb, the baby's weight makes it feel like it's ... ...or strong enough to hang a bag - we ended up getting some expensive draw-string arangement off ebay that I could have got for a quid from a sports shop.
The basket underneath is big enough to fit the rain cover in, and nothing more.
The "floating harness" makes it almost impossible to get your child in it first time, every time, without trying to find out where the buckles have disappeared to. Tempted to sew this into the back of the seat just ...

Advantages: Light, compact, folds down small, seat reclines fully. Disadvantages: Small shopping basket that's difficult to access when seat is reclined.
...I also bought a Petite Star cosy toes foot muff and it's lovely and soft and snug. My daughter goes straight to sleep in it!
The only thing wrong with it is the very small shopping basket! It's fine if the baby is upright and you only want to get a few bits and bobs, but it's almost impossible to access the basket once the seat is reclined. ...

Advantages: Lightweight, compact, suitable from birth, good all round pushchair Disadvantages: Very small shopping basket
I bought this pushchair for my 7 month son as his travel system was getting too big and bulky to push around, I wanted something lightweight and was recommended this. It is very lightweight, folds superbly flat and my son is very comfortable in it. Although the basket is very small to put things in, you can't use it or access it if the seat is reclined, if you're out and may need the rain cover it fits nicely folded up in the basket, but nothing ... ...to use and the flap on the front is really good idea and a great way to get your baby without having to take the whole thing off.
It goes up and down kerbs and on and off buses easily, it also goes up and down my drive which is loose chippings easily, (better than the travel system that wouldn't.)
I am 5'9" and I couldn't have the handles any lower, my husband isn't sure of it as he's 6'2" and it's a bit low for him, but it's just right for me ...

Advantages: small, lightweight, solid, recline, use from birth Disadvantages: none
Great!!
I sold my zapp to buy the zia and its been better than i expected.
A great recline, suitable from birth and folds really small.
Shopping basket isnt great but i only use it for the raincover anyway.
This is the best pram i have owned. easy to unfold...just "flick it out", easy to fold and great to push. Can also purchase a travel bag to go with these now too...£14.99 on ebay. Anyone that has a zapp and likes it will love this, just like ... ...rattles!! My little boy loves it too as the seat has loads of room and he can go to sleep in it. Whats not to love?!
Would highly recommend!!

Quick review of Petite Star Zia Stroller
Bought this buggy in 'cranberry' because of it's ability to fold down so well, which it does, but have since found out that that is about all of its qualities! It is very unsturdy, and once 'toppled' sideways while trying to cross a road -needless to say it hasn't been used since!
It's basket is very small and cannot be accessed while child is in buggy! Matching footmuff is very expensive and does'nt even stay in properly. Child is unable to sit up properly in buggy, therefore resulting in bad posture and grumpy baby! Once child reaches the age of about 12 months, rain cover won't fit properly because of child's footspace!
In my opinion.. Dont waste your money!!! ...
